Summary
Sublimation: While comets make their lonely way through the solar system, they are partly composed of or encased in ice. As they approach the Sun, however, the warmth causes that ice to sublimate into a mixture of gas and particles which extend behind the comet in what we see as a tail.
I promised y'all a fic and now that ep 53 (where this fic picks up from) is free, here we start! I am so in love with the webcomic Senorita Cometa by Are(chan); the story, the characters, the lore, it's so immersive! So this fic is basically a combination of my version of presenting theories my amazing beta, Jali, and I have been excitedly bandying about, and a long-winded love letter to Are(chan) for the amazing story that is Senorita Cometa. Updates will be fairly regular until I catch up to what I already have written, then there might be a little more time in between them. But I'm very glad you've joined us on this journey and hope I do Senorita Cometa the justice it deserves!
