God Obi-Wan you are such an idiot. Like it is clear from his flashbacks/memories that things were not right with Anakin growing up, and he clearly has an extremely controlling grandfather and I'm sure he has met other musicians who have had abusive parents. He is so blinded by the idealized version of Anakin in his head & his own privilege.
This is amazing to be clear. I've seen this fic come up in searches a few times and hadn't read it because I'm generally not super into AUs but damn this is so good I'm almost embarrassed that I hadn't read it earlier. I don't really know anything about the violin or classical music in general, but I can tell that you either do or did a lot of research and it really shows. Also the jargon could have been overwhelming or felt unrelatable, or unnecessary,but instead it just filled out the world they live in and invited the reader to join them.
Also I searched YouTube for people playing hallelujah on violin, and there weren't any quite like Anakin's playing they were still so moving. And Im grateful that you gave me the idea to watch it. It would be cool to see more of what happened/is going to happen to these characters, but I'm glad that I read it either way☺️
Reread it from the beginning if it ever gets even one additional chapter. It's amazing. 2/?
