    peter padded further down the hallway to tony and pepper’s room. their door was already cracked open, and he looked in solemnly, watching them sleep soundly in each other’s arms.

    he would miss them, wherever he was going next. for a second, a pang of regret struck him- for never calling tony “dad,” for missing out on being dropped off at college by him and may, for all the years he’d miss watching morgan grow up.

    but it’d be all worth it.
