The warden of Takso. They have no memories of their life before becoming warden. They don't really care too much to find said memories however, and fulfills their role as told by the overseer with a level of gravity unbefitting their apparent age. Zero will interact with the prisoners in order to decipher their crimes and motivations, before deciding whether their sins are [ forgiven ] or [ unforgiven ].
They have a rather strange appearance, with heterochromia and two mysterious tattoos, including some sort of barcode on their forearm.

A quiet, nervous young prisoner who won't meet anyone's eyes. At first, he didn't speak much during interrogation, unless it was about his partner. As time went on, he started to open up more, showing more of his true thoughts and feelings during conversations.
He seems indifferent to Takso's environment and the idea of being in confinement. Despite his quiet and easygoing nature, he doesn't seem to get along well with most of the other prisoners.

A cheerful and kind prisoner with a disarming smile. He has a mischievous streak, seeming to enjoy causing confusion among others with his manner of dress and speech. He is very talented at having long conversations without actually saying anything of note.
Doesn't seem bothered by his imprisonment, but then again he doesn't seem bothered by anything else, either. Gets along well with the other prisoners, though it's unknown if he truly enjoys spending time with them.

A brash, energetic, and determined young inmate. He has a strong sense of justice and morality, seeming to stem from his love of heroes. Doesn't seem to comprehend that he committed a murder, and believes that Takso is some sort of game. Speaks to Zero like a peer rather than an authority, something that gets on their nerves quite a bit.
A polarizing personality, the other prisoners seem to like and dislike him in equal measure. In turn, he seems to distrust them solely due to their "inmate" status.

A quiet, introverted inmate who didn't speak much to Zero at first. As time went on, she started to warm up to them, revealing a dry sense of humor and biting wit. She tends to keep to herself, seemingly by choice. When she runs into conflicts with other prisoners, she will appear to back down in order to end the argument. However, it's clear in her next interactions that she still holds a grudge.
She has a very blunt way of speaking, and doesn't see the point in trying to spare someone's feelings. Her oft-unwanted honesty has caused her to butt heads with a few of the other inmates.

A thin male prisoner with a haunted air about him. His multitude of scars tells a story about his past, though what that story is is still unknown. His strange eyes and sharp teeth give the air of something not quite human, an impression furthered by his own insistence of being a monster.
Despite his young age, he seems resigned to the situation he's in. In fact, he's gone so far as to request capital punishment for his crimes, and seems genuinely remorseful about his murder.

A sweet-faced female prisoner with a melancholy air about her. At first, she was cold and standoffish towards Zero. However, as time passed she warmed up considerably. She has the air of someone from a well-off family, evidenced by her dress and mannerisms.
Though she's polite to the other prisoners, she can get snappish when annoyed, which drives some of the more timid inmates away. She seems to be hiding something as well, under a thin layer of anger.

The oldest inmate in Takso. He is an ex-military man, a past made evident by his posture and mannerisms. He is mild-mannered and gentle when among the other prisoners, and seems to have taken it upon himself to keep peace among the group. He is incredibly tall and muscular, with a twinkle of mirth in his eye that he tries to keep hidden. Though he tries to keep the peace, it seems that most of the other inmates are intimidated by him.
When he meets with Zero alone, however, his gaze seems to be trying to dissect their thoughts and motivations.

A strange, macabre male inmate with a near-fanatical interest in death. He claims to be "Death's Chosen", a title he still has yet to explain coherently. His clothing appears hand-sewn and archaic, and he has several markings on his arms. It is unclear if these markings are tattoos, brands, or paint.
He is cheerful and animated when speaking with the others, but when he's alone he appears very dazed and melancholy. Occasionally, he appears to speak to empty air, though his general affect makes it hard to discern if this is a sign of mental illness or genuine psychic powers.

A regular person with a tall, lanky build. He is a rational (if rather gloomy) person, with a dull, unsettling gaze. Unlike the others, who are at least aware of their sins, he is adamant that he hasn't committed any crimes. He firmly believes that Takso is some sort of prank or reality show, and that he was brought here by mistake. Despite this belief, he tends to avoid the other inmates, seeming uncomfortable in their company. His (apparently permanent) dark circles and constant caffeine consumption have led some of the other prisoners to wonder if he ever sleeps, with a couple going so far as to suggest that he is, in fact, a vampire.

A young, strong-willed inmate with sharp eyes and a bad attitude. Compared to everyone else in Takso, he has the shortest temper and seems to always be angry at everything around him. He refuses to accept Zero and Takso itself as any sort of "justice" or "judgement", and acts accordingly. He has no love for authority, but seemingly no love for criminals either.
His harsh demeanor and short fuse make it rather easy to assume that he's an antisocial person, but in reality he's just quick to anger and bad at socializing. His blunt, harsh statements have caused a lot of fights to break out within Takso.
