Currently at the Togetsu family residence, Rei could be seen fidgeting. She glanced several times at the shoujo manga she borrowed from Muni this morning, causing her to have trouble focusing on the homework she was working on.
She, who had never touched a manga in her life, would be very curious about what exactly was in that sacred-looking book.
"Maybe reading a little is okay,"
Little did she know that her decision that night would drastically change her outlook.
Just by reading a few pages she felt very fascinated by what was in it. Making her unconsciously continue to open page after page just to satisfy her curiosity about what would happen next, completely forgetting that she had a homework that she had to do that night.
And without realizing it, she already finished one volume in one night. And just as she was about to go to bed, she realized that it was already dawn, so she could only sleep for a few hours.
The result? She came to school with bags under her eyes like a panda.
However, that's not the only effect a shoujo manga has on Togetsu Rei. She was so fascinated by the contents of the book, so she wanted to try what was in it on one of her friends. And the person who immediately came to mind was the main vocalist of Happy Around, Aimoto Rinku.
When the bell rang, Rei immediately rushed to meet Rinku who usually went straight to the room they used to practice in. When she got there, it was fortunate that Rinku was alone, so she was able to ask her right away.
"Rinku-san, I have a favor to ask, are you free today?"
With sparkling eyes and the energy she exuded, Rinku immediately agreed to Rei's request.
Rei immediately took her to the back of the school building where there were rarely students passing by. Feeling that the place she was heading to was too quiet, she immediately stopped her steps, making Rinku also stop walking.
"Are we there yet Rei-chan? What should I help you with here?" said Rinku who was quite confused by the place that looked like nothing.
"Rinku-san, can you stand over there," said Rei as she pointed to one of the walls.
Rinku immediately complied, curious about what Rei would do.
However, she was surprised by Rei who suddenly tapped the wall beside her hard and brought her face closer to Rinku. Being confronted with Rei's beautiful face from a fairly close direction made Rinku feel her body temperature suddenly increase.
Not only that, Rei then launched her next attack, according to the simulation in her head she had to say,
"You're very charming today, Rinku-san,"
Unable to contain the shame she felt, she tried to escape from that place. However, before she could escape, both her hands were grabbed by Rei and locked to the wall, once again forcing Rinku to look at Rei's beautiful face.
"Please don't go away from me my princess, I only want you, nothing else."
Rinku could no longer resist, her heartbeat, which she had never felt with anyone else, was beating rapidly. Her face, already as red as a tomato, could only worsen her current situation.
Rei reached into her pocket for something, then said, "Open your mouth Rinku-san."
Rinku, who could only obey, did so, but what was even more surprising was that not only did she taste the sweetness of the chocolate, but also the luscious lips that came with it.
After her hand was released, she immediately fell limp. Seeing that, Rei, who felt she had gone too far, checked on Rinku's situation.
With the red color that had never escaped her face and a few tears dripping from her, Rinku said, "Rei-chan, it seems like you managed to win my heart. I can't stop my heart from pounding. You have to take responsibility,"
Rei was surprised, not expecting her actions to have this kind of effect.
That night, she called Muni and told her everything that happened. Muni was silent for a moment while thinking about Rei's story.
"Sigh. Rei, did you know that only lovers do that?"
She was shocked, but thought back to the reason behind her actions all this time.
Why was the first person who came to mind when he wanted to try all these things was Rinku?
Why would she be so reluctant to do those things?
Was it possible that she actually knew what it was all about?
What...did she really feel for Rinku?
And finally, she found the answer to all those questions.
She already in love with Rinku.
She wondered when she had started to love her.
Loved her blonde hair.
Loved her determined and inspiring eyes.
Loved the positive energy she always exuded.
Loved everything about her.
Ah, maybe it was love at first sight.
Now everything was clear, about her feelings and about her actions.
The next day, she went straight to Rinku and apologized for her actions yesterday.
"A-ahhhh, it's okay Rei-chan. Just forget what happened yesterday," she said with a smile, but there was obvious sadness in her eyes.
Not wanting her favorite eyes to radiate anything other than happiness, she strengthened her resolve.
"I don't want to Rinku-san. It's true, what I did yesterday was stupid, and I didn't even realize it," Rei then took both of Rinku's hands, "but my feelings for you are real, and I won't waste this opportunity,"
"I love you Rinku-san. Will you go out with me?"
"Rei-chan, you don't have to ask anymore, of course I will," she said and hugged Rei.
