Basics:
- Quirks - 80% of the population have them.
- Second genders - Everyone has one, they are referred to as secondary quirks.
- Pheromones - Everyone has scent glands located at the neck, wrists, inner thighs, and ankles. These scent glands release a steady scent at all times. They often change, either souring or sweetening, with mood. They can also indicate if you’re mated or pregnant. They stem from your personality.
Genders
- No one really pays attention to genders, of course misogyny is still present but as long as you have a quirk you’re good. The important factor in how you’re treated is your secondary quirk. If you’re a quirkless alpha you’re okay, but you don’t have much worth. No omega wants a quirkless alpha. If you’re an omega without a quirk society will tell you that the only thing you’re good for is raising kids.
Sec Genders
Alpha - The alpha is the natural born leader, more inclined to be dominant and strong. They are those in power, rarely will you see an omegean hero in the limelight.
- Biology - Biology for alphas can change depending on your assigned sex at birth. For male alphas the only change in genitalia is the development of a bulbus glandis, or knot, at the base of the penis. For alphan women their body goes through more noticeable changes. This includes the development of a penis. During their first rut their body will shift, this is why on the first rut they will not be overcome with intense pleasure, or “need to breed”. The vagina will shift backwards, making room for the birth of more organs. The breast also cannot produce milk as they cannot have children. Their female reproductive organs no longer work. It is painful, this is why their first rut will last for at least a week or two.
- Psych - Alphas are much like the “men” of our society, the world expects them to lead. Of course, this is already implanted in an alphas blood. They are more confident and domineering. They often refuse to back down. This is not saying that alphas cannot be meek or shy. Much like the men of our society, they are forced into the stereotype, quirks don’t help
- Ruts - After the first rut an alpha will have their rut every month for a few days. In their first few months for a year two they will be overcome with lust but only in small bursts, much like cramps during a period. Their minds are foggy, and the lust often impairs their decision making. Though, when not filled with lust they can be functional.
- Pheromones - Alpha’s have stronger scents, often being loud. While an alpha can have a sweet scent, you can always tell that it’s an alpha. They can use their pheromones to provoke, claim, and suppress others.
- Commands - Alphas can command other genders, the only ones that can resist are other alphas. When they command someone to do something it is often because they are annoyed or angered. Though, if an alpha uses a command in an arguement it can end the relationship with the person they’re talking to. Because commands cannot be ignored it is frowned upon in society.
Delta - The second alpha. The runner up. The second in command. The delta is like an alpha, yet they only possess the recognizable pheromones, ruts, and commands. Deltas are just like alphas except women cannot be deltas. Deltas are basically overpowered men.
Beta - The regular people. The betas are people without the ruts, heats, commands, and changed biology. Imagine canon mha lmao
Omegas - The damsel. The omegas are those who are believed to be the mediators. They are often in helping positions; secretaries, nurses, etc. They are how society views women.
- Biology - Biology for omegean women doesn’t change too much, they can produce a self made lubricant, slick, when aroused, aiding in reproduction. Now, male omegas change drastically, much like female omegas their bodies develop more organs. These organs are female reproductive organs. Like female alphas, their penises will shift forward preparing room for a vagina behind it. Although you cannot tell a person's secondary gender until a few weeks before presenting, one thing that 7 times out of ten proves that they are an omega is their penis size. While not all people with small penises are omegas, all male omegas have small penises. This is because once the vagina fully forms the penis is quite frankly useless, much like the female alphas vagina. Presenting is like a short puberty for omegas. All omegas, male and female, will start to develop their body.
- Psych - While the stereotypes are annoying, it is true that most omegas will have parental urges. This does not mean they all want children, this just means they are more nurturing. Think of omegas as therapists, easy going, kind, helpful, these are some qualities of the omega. Though just like alphas, not every omega will fit into this box.
- Heats- Heats are much like ruts. The omega will have up to a week filled with bursts of lust. Because the omegas heat lasts longer, the effects are amplified. While omegas can still function during their heat, most of the time they are filled with a desire. This desire is like an inner voice telling you to mate, this voice doesn’t care whether you want to or not. During heats an omegas scent is uncontrollable, it cannot be masked. This is what causes most omegas to stay home during their heats. Omega's heat pheromones can trigger an alphas rut, causing unwanted aggression. During this heat an omega is their most fertile. If everyday is 20%, ovulation is 50%, then heat is 70%, these are the chances of getting pregnant. Once an omega finishes their presentation their heat cycle will be irregular until it evens out in about a year. Much like beta women, omegas all develop menstrual cycles. These cycles happen on a 28 day cycle, while heat happens every few months.
- Pheromones - Omega pheromones are much like alphan pheromones, the only difference being their calming effects. They can effectively use their pheromones to calm nearby deltas and Alphas.
More Terms -
- Packs - Packs are like a family, anyone can form a pack. There are multiple types of packs.
- Familial Packs - Your household, the pack you were born into. These packs are known to be quite small. They only contain the people in your house, the people you were raised around. This includes parents, siblings, and any other relative under the same roof. When in a pack there will be a signature scent you carry to indicate your pack. For example; A mother has a cherry scent, a father has a mossy scent, and their daughter has a peony scent. When you smell their scent you will find a hint of maybe dew, this is a sign of their pack. Most people use these lingering scents to find missing people.
- Pup Packs - These are packs formed in educational environments, containing trusted friends and teachers. A pup pack happens in classrooms, these students form bonds as the academic year progresses and unknowingly form bonds. These packs do not share scents, only an increased sense of trust and closeness. Pup packs often decrease bullying as they are all protective over each other.
- Group Packs - These are packs formed within packs or just by themselves. Unlike pup packs and familial packs you choose who you want in your pack. These packs can range in size, from 4 people to 12. Often in schools while there can be one pup pack those closer will form a group pack, these often carry to outside of school. These are packs that have a level of trust that you can only gain by knowing a person inside out. Think of best friends that you consider family. With group packs, not only will members have a shared scent they will also have bonded. These packs can sometimes be more traditional, having silently assigned roles like a leader, caretaker, etc.
- Withdraws - These withdrawals are not like those you experience with addiction. A withdrawal is when someone has their emotional bond with a pack forcefully broken. Think of how in pup packs there may still be those who are bullied, teased, disliked. Those people are outcasted from the pack, they are the odd ones out. This can happen in all types of packs. Think of Dabi, when he left his family he forcefully cut his connection. This would have caused him immense physical and mental distress. The pain someone goes through when the connection is cut is immense, even if they chose to do it.
- Pheromones (in depth) - Pheromones will start to develop a few months after birth. New horns and children will have a scent that is a mixture of their parents. Once a child reaches a certain age (8-10) their scent will disappear completely (they still carry their pack scent). After their initial pheromone disappears a new one will form upon presentation.
- Presentation - Pups usually present from ages 11 - 13 though they can present later than that. The early presentation makes it easier for their bodies to change before teenage years. With Midoriya, he was a late bloomer.
- Breeding - Just another word for impregnating but ik y’all know that
- Scent glands - There are 5 scent glands. Two are located on the neck, one on each wrist, one on the inside of each thigh, and one on each ankle.
- Back Neck - The scent gland located on the back of the neck is often used by parents, infusing their scent into the child.
- Side/Front Neck - These scent glands are used by mates. In order to mate a partner will make a mating claim/bite. These bites have to be reinforced every 3-5 years. (Omegas often wear thick collars to prevent marking)
- Wrists - For friends, it’s a sign of friendship. Can be done with a mark ot just scent infusing. Both parties have to be marked for it to truly work.
- Thighs - A way to show courting in a sexual relationship. One of the last steps in courting, showing your partner that you don’t only want them emotionally but also sexually. It isn’t necessary needed to court though.
- Ankles - Aren’t used for bonding. Just another scent releaser.
- Courting - Basically the talking stage, or flirting if you will.
- Bonding - An emotional bond between people. Can differ depending on how and where you bonded. For example; bonding through a claim on your inner thigh scent gland connects your emotions, or arousal to be specific. While a mating bond connects your emotions, arousal, distress, even sharing thoughts that show up like daydreams.
