   Summary

   “Oh,” Momo mumbled as she lightly skimmed her fingertips on the freshest evidence of his strength. She was afraid to touch him, worried about causing him pain, but she was reassured when his hand covered her own, pressing her palm flat against his chest entirely.

   “It’ll heal,” Shouto muttered, though his eyes were almost hollow, betraying his words, his tone of voice was warm. Reassuring her more than he was himself. Nodding and choosing not to dwell on it longer, Momo lightly kissed his cheek.

   After the second phase of the battle to save the world, Momo and Shouto finally have some time together. With the fight still fresh in their minds, they realized they could have lost each other and decided to take their relationship to the next level.
