Steve thought at first the man in the green armor was a creeper, and acted accordingly by impulsively shooting an arrow at him.
The Arrow bounced off the man's armor with a loud clink. The man didn't even flinch.
There was several long beats of stoic silence, as unfortunately, both men were the trademark videogame stoic silent types.
Well, the man doesn't seem to be hostile. Steve crouched a couple of times and punched the air. Maybe the man would ally with him?
The man just stared. Or at least, Steve thought he stared. He couldn't see his face.
After an awkward moment of silence, the man spoke!
...But not to Steve.
"Cortana, is this some new species of Covenant?"
Silence for a moment.
"...Forerunner?"
Another moment of silence.
Steve shrugged, shooting another arrow which bounced off. He turned away, deciding this man must be some kind of messed up villager. He picked up his dog, River, and began mining the diamonds.
The weird villager stared at him for a few moments, so Steve awkwardly threw an emerald at him.
These villagers were getting weirder and weirder each update.
