   Summary

   It started, bizarrely enough, with pillows.
   After the "earthquakes" and the chasms opening up around town, and the "ritual murders" and everything else, it had taken a while for things to settle. The town was fearful and reeling from the events of the spring of '86, but things eventually became more normal. People started going back to work and shops started opening up again. It wasn't the same as it was, and it likely never would be, but things were getting better.

   So, of course, that's when it started getting weird again.
