Chapter Text
The sun was beginning to set by the time that the Jedi Council had finally convened. There was much to discuss in such short amount of time. The primary item on the docket was the reemergence of the Sith. This was not overly surprising; this had been the primary of topic discussion ever since three years ago.
Master Yaddle was in deep thought when it happened. The venerable Jedi Master was not prone to visions. However, the Force decided to grace her with one straight from the Ninth level of the darkest Sith Hells. She was quickly overwhelmed at what she bore witness to. Unending armies rising up against one another, the galaxy being torn asunder, and the entire universe engulfed by the Dark Side of the Force.
At the center of it all was a lone figure steeped in Darkness, cackling as the galaxy burned around them. Ominous whispers could be heard in the distance, crying out “Beware Darth Sidious the Treacherous. Long will his reign be”.
The vision came to head as the identity of the would-be bringer of eternal darkness was revealed. This was impossible; it just couldn’t be true! The face beneath the hood belonged to none other than the Chancellor of the Republic himself.
Master Yaddle abruptly came to, the vision having concluded. She didn’t know how to process what she had witnessed. She dazedly peered at her immediate surroundings, trying to find something that could help her to make sense of what she had just witnessed.
Young Windu was unconscious on the floor, having fallen out of his chair at some point. To her right was Master Koon using his comm to call for a group of healers. A moment went by before she realized that there was a presence directly in front of her attempting to get her attention.
Master Yoda was peering at her in concern. “He has such a big heart for such a small being” Master Yaddle thought to herself. It took her another moment before she was able to assuage her friend’s concerns. The healers had finally arrived by the time that Master Yaddle felt her composure return.
The council (minus Master Windu) had declared the meeting adjourned until the following evening.
