“Where are we going, kid?” Shiu clarifies, not annoyed yet.
He flicks the cigarette out the moving window, rolling it up so the voice is easier to hear. Naoya’s been staring at himself in the convex mirror, now giving Shiu his upright attention. He looks at him like he’s the goddamn stupidest man in the world.
“A restaurant.” Naoya says, like that much was obvious.
Shiu hasn’t wavered yet, but he does place two hands on the wheel now.
