Summary
“Are you the peeping tom from yesterday?” Quanxi’s voice is low and playful. Something about her tone, or maybe the look in her eye, makes the hair on the back of Power’s neck stand up. It’s not enough to truly scare her, legs remaining firm on the ground, but she slowly cowers further behind the tree.
“You were the one barging in on my land.” Her voice is still powerful and heavy. She had no concern that it wouldn’t come out that way. As she moves backward (Quanxi doesn’t stop her march forwards) her ears carefully listen for any movement behind her. She’s not dumb enough to get caught by another fiend.
OR
Quanxi is sent to exterminate the blood fiend, but she has other plans.
