068. Theory

Summary:

He has a whole mind map, lines pointing in various directions at situations that could align them and which they could possibly lead, some end with pictures of houses, others with clippings of divorce stats. There are so many possibilities with them, this is why theory is so dangerous to test, it can all go right or left or up or down or sideways.

In theory, they could work.

sherlock measures all the complimentary traits and all the probable arguments, plays out their entire relationship in his head, and comes up with several futures.

in one, they end up with two kids and a house, they’re happy and inlove and Mycroft will have to pay up every decade he bet they wouldn’t last because they would be forever.

Problem is, he would have to quit consulting, take up a normal occupation, which he doesn’t want.

besides, its only thoughts, reality can be gravely different, especially with the changes of time, so why risk it?

Notes:

it is to be noted, that the drabble topics are from my own choice, not a particular challenge or collection, so i dont know how many i will make as i am making them up as i go. a random word and a hundred words, i want to make a hundred drabbles. i am open to requests, however, you can only give me a word and a couple, not the whole plot. for e.g ( escape, harryxhermione, harry potter series). not ( harry and hermione escape to rome. or harry and hermione escape a stuffy ministry party) for more clarification, comment and ask below.
