"Akira.." his boyfriend's sickly sweet voice pierced through the silence as they stared at the … garments, for the lack of a better word... that Ann left them with this time around. "You wouldn't mind if I killed one of your friends, right?"
Blinking a bit, he had to glance away from the... outfit of choice... today to look at said boyfriend, thinking about what he said. The Metaverse was no more and yet... he never thought they would be here again. None of them did...
Trust Ann Takamaki to come up with the most genius punishments known to mankind. Not that they were really punishments for him, he actually kinda liked their attempt at the maid outfits last time... not that Goro, Ryuji and even Yusuke seemed inclined to agree with. Opting to leave his boyfriend to whine about their predicament to the other two, he simply went back to staring at the swimsuits in front of them.
Bikinis, not even one pieces, but straight up bikinis.
The girls were likely enjoying themselves but... well, you know what they say, a swimsuit a day keeps the doctor away!
… or so Akira heard once, from somewhere. He wasn't sure. He certainly didn't want the four of them to get sick so...
"Come on, it's only for today." he told them after a while, hoping his voice was convincing since he wasn't certain. "Tourists coming over for the summer to see Sojiro's coffee shop... what could go wrong?"
Choosing to ignore his boyfriend's answering glare that promised a certain blonde a world of pain, Akira almost cheerfully picked up one of the bikinis and went to get changed, waiting on the others to make their choices.
If you were to ask him, Goro Akechi would curse Ann Takamaki for the rest of her days and yet...
Sure, he wasn't too keen on his bikini - it barely classified as one, if he had a say in it - but the way his boyfriend looked in his? Seriously, just how did the other young man pull off all these out of the world outfits? First the maid outfit with those socks and now... Goro hissed at himself, trying to hide away because he suddenly felt very exposed. He couldn't be blamed for his boyfriend being hot and - in Ryuji Sakamoto's words - having legs 'for days'. Like he wasn't aware of that fact! They just weren't so blatantly in his face most of the time, usually occupied with tangling with Goro's while they...
"Hey, Akechi, why are you turning so red?"
"Sakamoto, for the love of everything that remains on this world, shut up."
"Sheesh, see if I ever help you again!"
While the two of them bickered, Akira and Yusuke were busily discussing the pros and cons of their respective swimsuits, wondering just when their boyfriends would be quiet and get this over with... well, Yusuke was, their leader was enjoying himself, having noticed the not so secret glances his way from a certain boyfriend of his....
Truly, he would have to thank Ann after rewarding Goro for his good reactions, that would have to come first. As the doorbell to the café rang and wide-eyed costumers started coming in, Akira put on his best customer smile.
"Hello and welcome to Café Leblanc! What may I get you today?"
