The sudden rush of magic entering his system made him gasp. For an instant, it felt oddly natural, almost right, like it was supposed to be this way. And then it became too much, too much, too much, too much. The curse thrummed throughout his veins and arteries, silently begging him to just lay down, go to sleep, give in. He barely got the staff between his legs before Flapjack sped off towards what Hunter could only hope was help. He thinks he hears hinges squeak and something akin to a gasp, but his ears are ringing too loudly to be sure. He forces out a plea for help before everything goes black.Cursed hunter fic I'll hopefully be motivated to write. No, he doesn't turn into a cardinal or have wings or anything. That's boring. He has green goop and traumatic flashbacks instead!
Update: alright. i'm not beating around the bush any longer. I'm not going to be updating this fic anymore, I'm sorry. I don't think I can do anything with it and I've moved fixations. See my other works, they're short and not TOH but pretty good.
