She draws him all the time, even when she’s not drawing him.
the look in the eyes, the shape of the hands, that slender nose, in bits and pieces, every character she draws has Jace in them- even when they don’t look like him.
she borrows his sardonic expressions, those hunched shoulders and strong legs for her villains, and for the hero’s she has them have that fearless bravado, the hard knobbed knuckles and straight, stubborn neck.
His own portraits, strangely enough, are of other things made into him; winged creatures, crowned princes, fallen gods- they all have his face.
