Kai walked into the kitchen to find the rest of the ninjas surrounding the table “what are you guys doing?” he asked them, as he was very confused.
“We found some of wus magic tea!” Jay said excitedly
“and why are you surrounding it?” Kai asked joining them,
“we have no clue what it is,” Nya said looking very focused
“we just don't know who should drink it” Jay responded. “I'll drink it” they all looked up “are you sure?” Zane asked
“yeah we don't know what it is,” Cole said, “it could blow you up! Or turn you into a chair!” the blue ninja told kai. “A chair? Really?” cole said and rolled his eyes.
Cole walked closer to Kai “are you sure you want to drink it?” he asked the brunette in front of him.
“yeah, it could be fun and if it's not maybe don't tell wu” he laughed a little. Nya started making the tea
“Okay bro if you die from this it's not my fault,” the water ninja said sounding serious yet joking at once.
“Okay?” they waited for the tea to brew “this is gonna be very interesting” the nindroid noted.
“Im kinda nervous but yolo right?” Kai said and sat down “be careful,” cole said putting his hand on Kai's shoulder
“I will” Kai smiled knowing cole would be right there for him.
“Dude stop blushing!” kai thought. Jay poured the tea and handed it to the fire ninja “good luck” he said “thanks.”
Kai took a sip it tasted slightly weird. Not bad but not that good either, he took one more sip before setting it down. “so how do you feel?” Nya asked also kinda worried and hoping her brother wasn't gonna explode or turn into anything weird. “I don't know”
he responded he couldn't figure it out there was something he was feeling like it was almost there. Cole sat down next to Kai
“you're okay though right?” he asked “Woah..” Kai said he felt like there were a million butterflies in his stomach as if his life was just completed
“dude your eyes!” his once hazel eyes were now a rose pink including his pupils. “Hiii cole!” Kai said slightly cheery “hi?” cole was almost confused
“I'm so glad to see youu” he said and cole then started to think why kai would say this considering they'd been in the same room for a while.
“me too?” kai saw cole and just couldn't stop thinking of him. From his dark hair that's just so perfect, to the way he's just so kind, and he is so reliable. Cole was perfect.
“I know that look anywhere!” Nya said “oooo” Jay said, “Kai is in love!!” Nya and Jay said in unison,
“in love? With me?” cole was surprised and also quite happy. He turned bright red, “of course I'm in love with you! How could I not be,” kai said and held coles hand.
“What's going on in here?” Master wu asked as he walked in with Lloyd.
“Why are Kai's eyes pink?” the green ninja asked, “he drank the love tea??” Wu yelled.
“We thought it was normal tea! He took the first drink to make sure we didn't die” Jay said “truee” kai said still focusing on cole.
“That love tea isn't just a love tea! It enhances your feelings. The more you love someone the more the tea will react, I'm not sure how long it will even last” Wu said sighing.
“Wait.. so kai really does like me? Not just from the tea?” Cole asked his sensei "yes he does." Wu said "I thought it was quite obvious," Zane said
"And you didn't tell us!?" Jay asked very offended that he never mentioned it to Jay.
The Earth ninja felt relieved but wished Kai could've told him, himself. "kai will be okay just wait for the tea to wear off- oh maybe he shouldn't go on any missions either." Sensei Wu said while leaving the room,
"well, we should go! you two can hang out." Nya said and they all left. it was just Cole and Kai "so what do you wanna do?" cole asked the brunette hoping He'd have an answer. "I'm not sure. OH!
wanna go get food in new Ninjago city?" Kai asked cole and stood up "yeah why not! anything in mind?"
