   Summary

   Panem is a country ravaged by floods (instead of arenas) and is beginning to come back to life under a new government. Katniss is getting ready for the first ball since the most recent floods, excited to finally get to share her love story with her district, something they've all been asking about for years. But is it who the townspeople expect?

   This is just a gentle piece I wrote to try and bring some light into Peeta and Katniss's lives. They deserve it.
