Work Text:

Veronica just wants to spend some quality time with her boyfriend, is that too much to ask?

Well apparently it is. It's the third day in a row that Veronica hasn't been able to see her boyfriend. She wouldn't consider herself a possessive person but this is just different.

He usually is always with her no matter where they are, he's clingy like that. But she also understands why he's not with her at the moment. She knows where he is at but that doesn't make the feeling of her being alone any better.

JD is out getting tutoring so he can actually pass his classes. He got this idea after realizing that once they graduate the state won't cover for them anymore and he needs to have a plan for his future.

But Veronica didn't know he would be out every single night. Not even a call when he was finished. However she couldn't be mad at him, she always understood his perspective but she also knows he needs a break from all that learning. All he needs is to spend some time with her.

Veronica waits patiently at her locker, she wants to say goodmorning to her one true love. And talk to him about his busy schedule that sadly doesn't involve her.

When she finally sees him coming down the hall wearing his trenchcoat, she can't help but smile at him. Gosh it felt so long since she last had seen him, it's almost as if she's falling in love once again.

"Well goodmorning Veronica, you seem to be in a good mood today."

Veronica smiles wider and then gave him a soft kiss on his lips. She so wished she could stay in that moment for ever but sadly she had to end it just as quickly as it started.

"Are you free tonight?"

She had so many ideas of what they could do that night if was available, she wanted to spend eternity with him. But one night would suffice if was available to do so.

"Can't, not tonight. I have that tutoring thing again..."

When she heard those words her heart almost broke. Another night without him... She hated it, all she wanted to do was hang out with him but everything was getting in the way of that.

JD changed the conversation topic quickly, and soon the bell rang, telling them both it was time to get to class. Veronica didn't pay attention in 1st period at all, all she could think about was JD... And how she won't get to spend time with him once again...

But Veronica want just going to give up like that. She needed to fight for what she wanted. For she knew that JD would do the exact same if he was in her situation. She would stay after school when JD starts tutoring, maybe then she could get a glimpse of what he does.

WESTERBURG HIGHSCHOOL 5:53 PM

Veronica stayed at the school till the tutoring time arrived, there weren't many students who were getting tutored, which was great for her.

However one thing she hated was that the tutoring sessions were student lead, and JDs tutor was that one smart ass girl from her chemistry class. God she always got on her nerves, she always acted like she needed to prove a point to her and the Heathers. It didn't help that she truly believed that Veronica and the Heathers were all just dumb girls. Her tone was always condescending and her attitude was just like Chandlers.

Veronica never considered her a threat or enemy, I mean come on. She was part of the most popular clique in school and had the most loving boyfriend in the world, why should she be insecure over some smart girl?

But when she saw that girl practically flirting with JD, Veronica was livid. She always made fun of JD possessive behavior at time, but this felt off. JD was clearly a bit uncomfortable and trying to just focus back on the math work they were doing, but she clearly didn't stop.

The hours slowly, and excruciatingly ticked by untill it was 8 PM and the tutoring session had finally ended. Veronica rushed home, she didn't want to get caught by JD, that would be embarrassing.

When she got home she immediately started to write in her diary of what she saw. She was so angry and scared at the same time. But not once did she blame JD, not once did her mind think of getting mad at him. She needed to just save him from those "tutoring sessions". She needed him back. He needed her back.

She ripped out a page from her diary and got to work, she needed everything to be perfect for what she was about to do. The entire time she planned, she just thought about what JD would have done.. he probably would do something even more drastic, he is very dramatic and that's one of the many reasons she loves him dearly.

Just a simple forged note would be more then enough to convince that girl just what Veronica wanted. Even with all her schemes she knew JD wouldn't get mad at her, he wasn't like that. He probably would be confused and maybe a bit concerned, but mad? Never.

The next day Veronica put her plan into action, she said goodmorning to JD as per usual but she sadly had to rush their daily conversation as she had something very important to do.

Right before she was about to end their conversation, she wrapped her arms around his waist, and slowly grabbed the gun that was in his trenchcoat pocket.

Veronica had a thing for stealing...who knew it could be so easy when someone is distracted? She did feel a bit bad for stealing something from him, but he will forgive her once he finds out why she did it.

She walked over to the girls locker, and slowly put the forged note through the gaps of the locker. Then all Veronica would have to do is wait patiently for when the time came so that she could put her plan in action.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The morning classes came and went and it was finally lunch time, the perfect time for something like this to occur. She watched as the smart ass girl found the note, she watched as the girl blushed and hurriedly ran to the requested location. She ran so fast that she forgot to close her locker. To that Veronica, stole a couple of trinkets for fun, no real reason except she just could. I mean they could be used for her plan perhaps?
Veronica walked to the location, she made sure to take her sweet time. When she would arrive she wanted the girl to think she got stood up, Veronica wanted to make sure she was hurt just the same way Veronica felt last evening.
And it worked, when Veronica got to the location. She found the girl almost in tears, she almost felt bad for her. Then she remembered how she made JD feel, and that was enough to get her riled up inside.
"Oh my gosh, are you alright?"
Veronica put on her obviously fake "Heathers voice" that she tended to use in similar situations like these.
"What...oh um....I don't know..m I thought I would meet my crush here but I suppose he stood me up."
The girl then fell into a fit of sobs, and Veronica did not care for a single tear that fell down her face. All she wanted was to get the plan done and her love back.
"How about we talk about it near the water over there?"
Veronica was surprised how genuine she sounded. The lake near the school was the perfect place to hide a crime scene and not to mention it was just gorgeous. Maybe one day JD will take her out on a date there... Oh god how she hopes for that to happen...
They girl didn't argue and Veronica listened to every word she said, about how she practically was in love with him, about how she hoped he would kiss her during their study sessions and how she wished she would notice her. And with every would she said Veronica got angrier and angrier, it was getting very hard to keep calm. Especially when this girl acted like JD was just someone she could own or "fix".
When they got to the lake, Veronica calmed her self down a bit. The beautiful trees were very relaxing, especially since she had a homewrecker right next to her. Veronica was a bit confused on why the girl didn't know that Veronica was JDs girlfriend, did they truly hide their relationship that well?
The girl went on, about how she could change JD and make him a less "dangerous" looking individual. Veronica was trying so hard to not blow up at her, she had to stay calm. The plan needed to go perfectly.
The girl sat down on a log near by and kept venting to Veronica about her woes. At this point she wasn't listening to her anymore, for the girl had nothing worthy to say to Veronica. All she could think about at the moment was to get rid of her once and for all.
Veronica was maintaining a clam persona before the girl had said something that crossed the line a little to far.
"I mean... I know he has a girlfriend.... But I kinda wish she would just die... Does that make me bad... Gosh I don't know I just want him so badly I suppose."
That was the final straw for Veronica, when she muttered those words she immediately pulled out the gun and didn't hesitate to shoot her three times in the chest.
As soon as it happened, Veronica froze. Yes she did plan this entire thing out, yes she stole the gun and yes she did shoot her. But once the girl was dead Veronica wanted to regret her actions.
But she didn't
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The education system really needs an upgrade, because dragging that girls body to the water and making sure no one could see her was a real challenge. One that Veronica hoped she wouldn't have to do again for her love.

Veronica skipped the rest of the day, she went home and drenched her bloody clothes in hydrogen peroxide to get the blood out. She ripped out pages from her diary that had her plans of murder, they did their purpose they were no longer needed. So she burned them, and almost just wanted to touch the fire but she had a crime scene to hide.

The girls name was all over the news, she was missing and Veronica knew they would never find her. Sherwood's police looked everywhere but the lake and forest behind the school. So with that Veronica put on one of her nicer blazers and took a trip to JDs house at midnight. She knew he would be awake, he never was asleep at midnight.

The whole journey there she couldn't stop the smile form forming on her face, God she never had been more satisfied in her work then now. Even more satisfied then winning a national spelling bee, and more satisfying then joining the Heathers. She never knew she was able to be with happy over someone's death.

She climbed up the tree next to JDs window and slowly snuck in, it was much easier now that he didn't have a window lock.

"Funny seeing you here..."

JD was laying on his bed, per usual. His trenchcoat laying on the floor. One of the only places he felt safe not having it on was when he was locked in his room away from the world.

"I did something honey..."

Veronica said with a grin. She want one to grin. But she also wasn't one to murder. You can say that, that day was filled with new things for everyone.

"I know you did... So where did you hide her body?"

Veronica froze, how did he possibly know? She thought her plan was absolutely flawless. How did he figure it out... Does this mean someone else could know?

"How do you know.. I didn't tell you anything!"

There was a slight chuckle to her voice, she wanted to make sure it was clear that she wasn't mad at him for finding out what she did but at the same time she did want to know how he found out about her plan.

"Oh come on, I don't see you for a few days because I'm getting tutored, then suddenly my gun gets stolen and my tutor has suddenly gone missing? Please, darling you used the same exact tactics I would've done..."

Veronica was in absolute shock that he found out based off of those miniature prices of evidence. She was a bit disappointed she couldn't revel her master plan and get him impressed.

"Just admit to me you were jealous..."

JD smirked at her, and Veronica was trying so hard not to blush at his words.

"Fine! Okay! I was a bit jealous... It was just that you were spending so much time without me, I just couldn't take another day.."

Her voice started to crack and she almost was about to cry, that was until JD wrapped his arms around her and gave her a loving hug.

"I'm sorry I made you feel that way, I just wanted to get my grades up for you..."

Veronica looked up to his face, he was almost in tears himself. Veronica never thought she would ever see him cry, he just always acted so tough at times...

"It's alright my dear, I can help tutor you from now on... It's just she was getting in the way of us... And she kept trying to be with you, I couldn't have that..."

How JD was the one blushing, he was always the one with the possessive behavior. It was almost a shock to him that his possessiveness rubbed off on Veronica.

They both laid down on the bed, both wrapped in each other's arms just sing staring at each other's eyes. Veronica finally had gotten what she wanted, she couldn't be happier in the circumstances...

She will give his gun back tomorrow, and she will apologize later for stealing but for now she was happy... For now she has him... And no man or woman could get in the way of their love for eachother.

For their love is God....

Notes:

Thx for reading guys I love all y'all.
I made this because of all the "JD jealous, possessive over Veronica" fics there are, and while I love reading them I just wanted to flip the switch. I do imagine Veronica being a little jealous at times 😅
