(Wednesdays POV)
Altogether, I'm unsure about how I landed myself in this situation. About travel towards a bar for my "bands" debut; Thorpe on drums, Ajax playing the electric guitar, Bianca is the lead singer, receiving back-up vocals from Tanaka. Myself and Tanaka play plenty of other instruments, our manager Eugene books the shows with Bianca at his side to help. I read the sheet Eugene gave me about the place we are preforming at, the bar is called 'Outcasts Keep' a suitable place to start our feeble music career. I hear a knock my apartments door-it's Bianca.
"Come on loser, we have to go. Do you have your bass?"
"Bianca, I find it insulting that you would assume I would forget my primary instrument, however have we decided the song we would like to debut on?"
'Yeah we have, you're gonna wanna bring your bari-saxophone for one of these, Yoko is going to be playing it."
"That doesn't entirely answer my question, Barclay."
"Oh, right. We're playing Red Moon By Will Wood and the Tapeworms, Going Nowhere by Feelrs, and Heart of a Dancer by The Happy Fits."
"Sounds fine."
"Alright, well we have to go. Everyone is waiting for us."
"Of course."
We walk to the a maroon colored car, there I see Thorpe, Tanaka, Eugene, and Ajax. Me and Bianca cram ourselves into the back seat after loading my instruments into the back, with that we're headed to the Nightshades first live performance. It was a quick drive and we were there in minutes, we unloaded and walked towards the employee only entrance.
"Is everyone ready??"
'I find that we are adequately prepared Xavier."
"Your not even a little nervous?"
"I'm confident in this bands ability to play in a decent manner."
"Okay, well lets head in then."
We followed Xavier through the employees only entrance to find black curtains that leads to a small stage, I peek behind the curtains and scan the audience, everyone looks drunk; out of my preferable vision I see a brightly dressed blonde talking to a brunette with light tones. I visibly make a reaction to seeing the blondes painfully blue eyes and she looks over and starts pointing.
"OH MY GOD! DIVINA I THINK I SAW ONE OF THE PERFORMERS!"
"Woah, calm down girl. They should start any minute now, you can wait."
I turn away from the curtain and start unpack my bass and plugging it into an amp, I assembly my bari-saxophone and hand it to Tanaka; to which she almost immediately starts playing Careless Whisper to warm up. I rolling my eyes at, I think 'how unoriginal, that song is absurdly annoying', continuing to assist other members of the band I over hear Eugene talking to security and stage crew, soon enough he's walking over to each of us handing over microphones and telling us we are on in 3 minutes.
"Well guys now or never, blow them away!" Eugene excitedly waves his hands around before shooing us to the stage
"Are we going to do an introduction or just play straight away?" Xavier asks with a nervous looks on his face
'No, I think it would be better to do that after the first song, let them get a feel for our kinda style, y'know?"
"Yeah I get it, are you gonna come on stage with us and talk to them a little?"
"Probably."
Eugene is first to lead us out of the backstage area and onto the actual stage, I hear some small sqeals and 'look at how cute the drummer is!' and 'the lead singer is hot af brosif' I take a quick glance towards the blonde and her friend who I can only assume is named Divina, both of them are staring with excitement in their eyes, Divina is eyeing Yoko while the blonde has keen eyes on me. I take a few deep breathes before taking a look at Eugene who is about to start a short speech about what we are going to play.
'Hello! If I could have everyones attention please!" The crowd quiets down at the sound of Eugenes voice booming in the room, he quickly turns down the volume and continues "We are the Nightshades, we'll be playing 3 songs for you this evening; Red Moon By Will Wood and the Tapeworms, Going Nowhere by Feelrs, and Heart of a Dancer by The Happy Fits in that order." He takes a quick glance back at us to make sure we caught the order of songs and we all nod. "I hope you enjoy the performance." He turns around and checks the amps and volumes of everything before asking if we're ready.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Bianca taps her feet nervously on the ground
"I agree, however I believe we will do ghastly."
"Im with Wednesday" the rest of them said in agreement
"Okay, okay enough bickering we need to start, I'll give you 1,2,3,4 and you play on 1. Got it?' we all nod waiting for his cue "1,2,3,4!"
As soon as we start Yoko and Xavier lead the band, Yoko plays powerfully on the bari while Xavier quietly backs her up. Ajax joins in perfectly on his keyboard and plays strong notes, after a solid 30 seconds Bianca, me, and Yoko all begin sining; Bianca takes the lead while me and Yoko song the back up vocals.

I hear the 'oohs' and ahhs' as we play, the music has the whole band swaying back and forth to the beat, I catch another glance at the blonde girl who looks like she's in a trance with the music. I can't seem to pull my eyes away and almost miss my bass entrance, right before I turn away I notice the brunette punch the blonde and say something along the lines of 'DUDE SHE WAS TOTALLY LOOK AT YOU JUST THEN' I fully turn my attention back to the music and continue.

About 2/3 thirds into the song, we all spare each other passing glance to push our volume a little louder, at this point the crowd is cheering and blathering all kinds of phrases. Ranging from 'OH MY I LOVE THIS BAND' to 'THIS SONG IS SO EMO' the crowds already been yelling over each other but now it's closer to fully screaming. Bianca nods towards Eugene to which her responds with a thumbs up and signals to us its, time for a wardrobe change. While still singing Bianca pulls of the long sleeves to her rather loose fitting dress, only for it to drop down and unveil a shorter one that stops above the knees. It's covered in blue and green sequins, the crowd goes wild. At the same time the rest of us start revealing our outfits, Xavier pulls off the zipped up windbreaker to reveal a fitted white Oxford collared shirt with the first 2 buttons undone.
Ajax simply gives a charming smile while opening his shirt a little more, Yoko drops her baseball cap and shows off her jet black hair paired with the long black dress she's already wearing. I begin to pull off my sweatshirt to reveal a black sleeveless turtle neck that compliments my slightly toned arms, I undo my belt for my pants to drop showing off the baggy black denim jeans I'm wearing with another black leather belt. After our outfit change we continued we looked back to the crowd and some were visibly swooning, expect the blonde who seemed to be ordering drinks at the bar. No problem, right? It' doesn't bother me one bit. Im lying to myself, Bianca notices me staring at the blonde and smirks; we continue to play the last portion of the song pushing harder and harder with each verse.

The constellations form infinite paisleys in the sky
The condensation tumbles down and erases all my sight
And is it in the nightmare map of the cosmos up high?
Or is it in the signs? Or stranger still, just in my eyes?

As soon as we finish the crowd erupts into cheers and claps, Eugene is smiling brightly while handing us water bottles.
"Guys! That was fantastic, I don't think you've ever played better."
"I found I had an excellent motivation" I deadpanned while look at Eugene
"And I think I know what it is." Bianca said with a sly smirk "Ms. Addams seems to be infatuated with the blonde over there"
Apparently the whole band hears Bianca say this because they all turn to scan the audience, Yoko swoons at the sight of Divina walking over with the blonde in hand. Eugene pats me on the back while Bianca and Ajax snicker
"I swear I'm going to cut off your tongues and feed them to a-!"
Suddenly I was interrupted by the sweet looking blonde
"Hi! I'm Enid, I was wondering if I could get your guy's names? You all seem cool and are uh very nice-looking?'
Xavier can't help but laugh a little as Yoko and Bianca walk over, I over hear parts of their conversation mostly the introduction
"Hey I'm Bianca, this is Yoko." she points to Ajax trying to shut Xavier up "The one wearing a beanie is Ajax and the other one is Xavier."
"Okay, this might sound weird but, whats the bassits name? She's really hot, like extremely" She turns over to me even though I very clearly heard her, all I do is smirk and raise an eyebrow. She turns a deep pink, a color that suites her makes her all the better looking,
"Oh we know, her name is Wednesday. You should go talk to her, she was kinda eyeing you while we were playing."
I notice Enid starting to walk up to me but not before Eugene grabs the microphone and starts speaking into it again.
