Hello! I'm an amatuer writer who writes to satisfy my cravings for yaoi and also to share it with others.

Chapter Text

Type: Two Shots

Pairing: Trafalgar D. Water Law x Monkey D. Luffy

"It’s getting very exciting!"

"Heh, we’re finally fighting against one of the emperors! I can’t wait."

"Mou! Only idiots like the both of you get excited about fighting someone stronger. " Nami couldn’t help but feel a bit helpless watching her captain and a green-haired samurai get fired up. It’s one of the four emperors we’re talking about! Not to mention someone who could shift into a freaking dragon.

"Don’t worry, Nami-suwaan~ I’ll protect you." Sanji butted in as his body swayed like a wave with hearts in his eyes.

Nami’s lips twitched as an irk mark appeared on her head. Here’s another helpless idiot who only has women in his brain. "Yeah, sure, I’ll count on you."

Nami swatted Sanji’s face away as she placed both of her hands on the table and stared deeply at the map of a certain island in front of her. She couldn’t help gulping and getting nervous, thinking that they were really going to fight Kaido.

Robin noticed Nami’s nervousness, so she patted her shoulder and smiled at her as she said words of comfort and assurance, "I’m sure we’ll be fine. Besides, all of us have gotten stronger over the past few years. We’re not like before."

"You’re right, Robin." Nami smiled and nodded as she breathed to calm herself down.

"Listen everyone, with this map, we can learn the overall terrain and topography of Kaido’s lair. What we need is to formulate a plan to defeat Kaido since we’re going to face him this coming festival." Nami grabbed everyone’s attention as she pointed at the map that was given by Kinemon and was resting on the center of the table. It was the map of the island that Kaido is currently using as his lair.

A guy wearing a white hat stood and walked towards the center. His fingers were engraved with a tattoo that spelled "Death" on each one of his fingers. His black clothes merged with the dim environment of the castle ruins. His sharp eyes are full of seriousness and tension.

"I already have a plan for defeating Kaido. All we need is to execute it properly, and our chances of winning would rise by leaps and bounds." Law stated as he stared at everyone with his arms crossed on his chest.

Almost all of them who were gathered around the table wear serious expressions as the tension increases every second. Except for a certain person.

"Yosh! All we need to do is follow the plan, and we'll win! Now that the meeting is over, let's have lunch." Luffy said energetically with a wide grin on his face, rendering Law speechless.

"Oi Mugiwara-ya, I haven’t even discussed what the plan is yet." Law's sweat dropped as he stared at the smaller boy in front of him.

"Hah? But you already said it earlier. Besides, I'm really hungry." Luffy muttered as he rubbed his belly. As if on cue, his belly released a loud growl, protesting for some food.

"Nani? I only said that if we do the plan, we’ll have a high chance of... winning." Law’s voice trailed off mid-sentence as he saw that the boy wasn’t listening to what he was saying.

"Oii, Sanji! Cook me some meat!" Luffy shouted as he waved at the cook.

"Roger that. What about you, Nami-suwaan~?" Sanji leaned in front of Nami with hearts in his eyes. Nami pushed Sanji's face away with a straight face as she told him what she wanted to eat, followed by Robin and the rest of the crew.

"I want some sake." Zoro said.

As soon as Sanji heard what the green-haired samurai said, numerous irk marks appeared on his head as he grabbed the man’s yukata. "That’s not food! Idiot Marimo!"

"Hah! Well for me it is, dumb cook!" Zoro replied, irritated by what the cook said. He grabbed Sanji’s yukata as both of them bickered and threw insults at each other. Luffy and Chopper laughed, finding their fight amusing, as Robin smiled and Nami face-palmed. Meanwhile, Franky’s on the sidelines, shouting ‘super’ and stuff.

Seeing this chaotic situation, Law's sweat dropped as he stared at them in a bit of disbelief. He’s now regretting whether it was really the right choice to form an alliance with the straw hat crew.

"I told you, Luffy’s meaning of alliance is different from yours." Ussop commented as he stared at Law’s helpless look, feeling a bit of sympathy for the guy.

Law just stared at him for a brief second and continued to stay silent. Ussop patted his shoulder and went to his captain’s side. Unable to tolerate what was happening in front of him, Law decided to step outside. Kinemon noticed his leaving figure.

"Ah, where are you going, Law-dono?" Kinemon asked.

"I’m going to head out for some fresh air," Law replied without looking back as he leaped from tree to tree.

After gaining a few paces from the boisterous crowd, Law stopped and took a seat on a high branch overlooking a view of the ruined city of the Land of Wano. As he stared at the desolate scenery, Law couldn’t help but remember Doflamingo’s words back at Dressrosa.

"hahahaha, Law I didn’t expect you to have an alliance with Mugiwara." Doflamingo grinned as he stared at the bloodied body of Law.

Law gritted his teeth as he stared at the sunglass-wearing man in front of him with contempt. "Heh, why are you saying that now?"

"I’m telling you, sooner or later your heart would block you against your dreams." Doflamingo interrupted Law mid-sentence as he stared at his confused face.

"What do you mean?" Law questioned as he stared at Doflamingo.

"Hnhnhahaha, does that boy Mugiwara know how you feel?" Doflamingo laughed as he replied with a question.

Law’s eyes widened as he stared speechlessly at the guy in front of him. His hands couldn’t help but clench tightly as he felt as if he was an open book in front of the taller guy in front of him. Doflamingo’s grin widens as he sees Law’s reaction to what he says.

"hahahaha sooner or later, that guy would know how you really feel. I wonder what would happen then."

"Tch" Law couldn’t help but click his tongue in irritation as that hateful guy’s words kept ringing in his ears. "That guy would never know...  ever."

While thinking deeply and being absorbed in his own world, a sudden gust of wind awakened Law from his thoughts. A cold breeze from the wind brought forth a delicate and sweet fragrance, causing Law to be stunned. He inhaled heavily as his heart started to rapidly beat.

"What is this sweet smell?" Law murmured as he closed his eyes, feeling intoxicated by the scent he smells.

He leaned his head back, trying to look for the source of the smell. Following the scent, he turned around with his eyes still closed. The smell got thicker. He clenched his hands against his chest as he could feel his heart pounding loudly.

"Tora-o!" a very familiar voice called.

Law opened his eyes, and there he saw Luffy standing below the tree. Law bowed his head and stared at Luffy deeply. Just a while ago, the scent was so thick, and then it suddenly disappeared. Is it somehow connected to the boy in front of him?

Luffy grinned at him and waved his hands. Law leaped down from the branch of the tree and landed on his feet in front of Luffy.

"Why are you here, Tora-o? I've been looking for you since Sanji finished cooking lunch." Luffy stopped mid-sentence as Law suddenly leaned his head on his neck and sniffed it.

"E-eh? Tora-o, what's up with you?" Luffy questioned as he stared at the taller guy's weird actions. Law didn't reply and continued on, sniffing out the smaller boy in front of him.

'There's no scent."

Finding this out, Law leaned back as he stared at Luffy with a tinge of disappointment. "Nothing, didn't you say that lunch was ready?" Let's go"

Luffy's eyes brightened upon hearing the word lunch as he salivated, "Yosh! Let's go"

"Meat! Meat! Meat! I love meat!"

Luffy ran off, his body radiating excitement and enthusiasm, but was suddenly stopped by Law’s shout. "Oi mugiwara-ya! That's not the way back to the hideout. To go back there, you should run north!"

The smaller boy immediately paused and ran back, but after a few seconds, he stopped again. Law stared at Luffy's back with question marks hanging above his head. Luffy stayed silent for a few seconds before returning to Law’s side.

"Ahehe, where is north again?" Luffy asked with his head tilted as he scratched his cheeks.

Law facepalmed and sighed heavily as he walked towards Straw Hat and started leading the way to the clueless boy. "Follow me"

"Thanks Tora-o"  Luffy grinned as he stared at the taller boy's back.

'Ahh, Tora-o is really a dependable person."

Luffy thought as he followed Law's footsteps behind his back, skipping merrily while humming a tone. Both parties were the exaggerated opposites of each other, yet they managed to look so harmonious at the scene.

After eating a scrumptious meal, the group dispersed and went on to their own task allocated to them by Kinemon. Law decided to go back to his crew and plan some things out in case of accidents or emergencies.

Arriving at his hideout, he saw some of his crew members. He roamed his eyes and raised a brow as he noticed a certain bear missing.

"Where's Beppo?"  Law asked.

"Ah, he said that he wants to visit his master Nekomamushi for the time being, captain," one of them answered. Law just said 'oh' and walked in front of a round table full of illustrations.

"Everyone, gather up..." And Law spent the whole afternoon talking about some counterplans and back-ups for the oncoming fight against Kaido.

In the end, it was almost six in the evening when they finished finalizing everything. Law breathed a sigh of relief as he took a seat. Now that he's finalized some of his plans, all that's left is to share them with the straw hat crew and the samurai affiliates.

Just thinking about the meeting they had earlier, Law knew that this would be a very difficult task to do. His lips twitched in irritation as he foresaw everyone's actions, especially Straw Hat's. That boy never really listens and doesn't follow the plan.

It gives Law a headache whenever he thinks of the cheerful boy’s energetic attitude. Law closed his eyes as he started to doze off. His lips slowly formed a smile as he remembered the boy’s wide grin and cheerful voice as he called ‘Tora-o’ earlier.

"Mugiwara-ya…"  Law couldn’t help but mutter under his breath.

"Oooh, the captain’s in love," a very familiar voice cooed, making Law abruptly open his eyes. He stared grimly at the white bear standing on his left, wearing a teasing smile.

"Shut up. I’m not in love, and I don’t have time for trivial matters like that." Law grumbled as he sat up from his makeshift bed made out of hay and crossed his arms.

"Yes, you are. I can tell from your expression earlier and that small smile you made was full of tenderness. Just so you know, captain," Beppo insisted as he stared at his captain with a teasing smile.

"That's nonsense" Law rejected Beppo's claim.

"Humph. I also hear you mutter someone’s name. although I didn’t hear it clearly. "Soooooo, who is it?" Beppo peered at his captain as he asked inquisitively. His face was full of curiosity.

"… No one. You got it all wrong." Law replied with his head bowed down, causing his hat to fully cover his eyes, making it impossible for the bear to see his captain’s expression.

Beppo pestered his captain until he finally gave up after a few tries since his captain is so tight-lipped. He went off muttering something along the lines of how his captain was such a boring guy and a coward for not admitting it.

After Beppo left, Law covered his face with his hands as he tried to calm his fast-beating heart.

"Dangerous. That was so dangerous. He almost found out. I need to do something," Law said to himself as he finally realized how easily people around him could discover his feelings towards straw hats.

And so. To prevent this scenario from happening, only one option came to Law’s mind. Avoid. I need to avoid Mughiwara-ya at all costs. Thus the beginning of the game of hide and seek by Law started. For almost a week, Law avoided Luffy as if the smaller boy were a plague.

"Oi, Ruffy," Franky called his captain.

"ah? What is it, Franky?" Luffy asked with his head tilted.

"Hmmmm, did you and Tora-o have a fight? I noticed that he keeps on avoiding you these past few days. The ambiance between you and Tora-o is not suppeeer.” Franky said as he stared at the confused captain in front of him.

Luffy shook his head.

"Is that so? Must be my imagination then," Franky muttered to himself. He said goodbye to his captain and went on to his temporary job, leaving Luffy alone.

"Come to think of it, these past few days, I’ve barely talked with Tora-o." Luffy couldn’t help but cross his arms as he started to recall the events of the past few days.

[Flashback no.1]

"Ah, Tora-o, we’re going to town; do you want to go too?" – Luffy

"No, I have some things to do," Law replied hurriedly without meeting Luffy’s eyes.

[Flashback no.2]

"That’s one of our escape routes." Law discussed with the group as he pointed at a certain river.

Luffy ran over as he waved at the taller boy. "Oii, Tora-o, what are you guys talking about?"

Law’s body stiffened immediately as he heard Luffy’s call. With great determination, he turned his back to Luffy and hastily walked towards the exit.

"Nothing. Just some minor details; I've got to go."

[Flashback no.3]

"hmmm? Oh? Tora-o, what’s up? Want—"

Luffy didn’t get to finish his sentence as he saw the taller guy say ‘room’ before disappearing into thin air.

And the next days, he could barely even see the shadow of the taller guy. Realizing that the other person was avoiding him, Luffy couldn’t help but puff his cheeks in anger because of Law’s unreasonable actions.

"That’s it Tora-o. I’m going to catch you today and ask for an explanation," Luffy said, his words containing determination.

After dinner, Luffy followed Law, who was walking towards the forest. And a few seconds later, Law noticed the younger boy following him. His pace started getting faster and faster until it turned into outright running. Luffy was annoyed by this, so he stretched his arms and grabbed the trees, using them as a slingshot, and propelled himself into the air, catching up with the taller guy.

Luffy noticed Law’s intention of escaping. He immediately wrapped his arms and legs around the taller boy, fully hugging him. Their skins and clothes rubbed against each other as both of them panted due to the chase earlier.

"What’s up with you, Mugiwara-ya?" Suddenly-" Law was cut off mid-sentence.

"oi Tora-o! Why are you avoiding me these past few days?!" Luffy asked, his voice tinged with anger.

With their faces leveled toward each other and because of their close proximity. Law could clearly see Luffy’s enlarged face in high definition. His small nose His thin lips always wear a wide grin. The scar under his eyes that Law finds cute and charming And those pair of pure eyes that were untainted by the darkness of the world, always carrying a raging flame for his dreams

"That…." Law’s voice trailed off as he couldn’t find any excuse for his actions.

"Don’t you know that I was so worried and sad? I started to wonder if I did something wrong or if something happened to you that I didn’t know." Luffy continued as he stared at the taller guy in front of him. His eyes were turning moist as they were tinged with sadness and worry.

Hearing this, Law was stunned as he stared at the emotional boy in front of him. Damn it, Mugiwara-ya! Why are you so adorable that I can’t help falling more deeply in love with you?

Law sighed as he conceded defeat to his own ears. That’s it. He decided to take this one and only chance. He’s going to confess. "It’s not your fault, Mugiwara-ya."

"Then what is the reason?" Luffy asked.

"It’s because... I like you." Law finally uttered those words that had been brewing inside him for the past two years. He couldn’t help but feel relieved and anxious at the same time. He was relieved that he finally delivered his feelings towards the younger boy and also anxious by the boy’s reaction.

Law shut his eyes tightly. His hands turned into a fist as he clenched it tightly to the point where his nails dug into his palm, causing small cuts to appear and a little amount of blood to trickle down. Sweat started to form on his forehead as he awaited the boy’s reply.

After a few seconds of silence, Law could feel Luffy’s hands and feet loosening around his body. Interpreting this as rejection, Law couldn’t help biting his lip as he muttered to himself in his mind.

‘There you go. So much as ruining your only relationship with Mugiwara-ya. Shit! Now everything’s going to turn into dust'

"T-Tora-o….huh?" Luffy’s voice sounded beside his ear, making Law immediately open his eyes.

"What is it, Mugiwara-ya?" Law asked.

"I feel kinda weird…… It’s so hot in here... I feel like my body’s burning. and I feel kind of dizzy." The younger boy replied as his grip on Law’s body loosened.

Law immediately caught the boy in his arms to prevent him from falling. Law’s brows crunched up as he noticed that something was wrong with the younger boy in front of him. "Oi Mugiwara-ya! Get yourself together. Are you okay?"

Luffy didn’t reply, as he only stared at Law with his half-lidded eyes. He was dazed and couldn’t think clearly; it was as if everything around him was wobbly. The only thing that keeps him sane is Law’s shout of concern.

"Damn it!" Law couldn’t help but curse when he found out that Luffy had been poisoned and was in an unknown state. He couldn’t help but roam his eyes around, looking for what caused it. Soon his eyes stopped at a certain flower growing at the top of a branch a few meters away to the left.

"Sekiell. I thought it only grew on North Blue?" Law couldn’t help but exclaim as he identified the flower.

Sekiell is a flower that grows in tropical climates. Exclusively found only in North Blue. Its petals have a very deep blue color. At most, it almost looks like your average flower, but what’s distinctive about this flower is its pair of white stamens. It’s known for its medicinal effect of balancing hormones and curing colds and is very harmless, until...

"Come to think of it, Chopper told me earlier that their dinner was meat with veole soup." Realization dawned upon Law as he stared at the dazed boy in front of him.

Interacting with Sekiell’s pollen after an intake of voele could turn the very harmless flower into a very potent aphrodisiac. Law couldn’t help but gulp and tighten his grip on the boy as he stared at the sky.

"Damn, why does this happen when I finally get the guts to confess to Mugiwara-ya?" Law exclaimed under his breath as he started wondering what to do with the boy in his arms.
