Summary
Piper Chapman is a successful politician who is running for governor of New York. As a result, she is assigned a bodyguard — Alex Vause — who will have to follow her wherever she goes for the duration of her campaign, at least. Alex and Piper come from very different worlds, and their differences will result in continuous clashes during the very intimate working relationship that they are forced to maintain.
