Summary
After being sent back in time to Beacon again, Ruby tries to enjoy the little things before the Vytal Festival draws nearer. However, in an attempt to avoid an uncomfortable situation, she creates an unnerving one.

This was a scene that was in my hand for a time travel fic set in Vol 1 Beacon that would have progressed through the story of the show, but other ideas caught my attention so I shelved the concept I had in mind. Still, the idea of this scene rang in my head enough where one night I just wrote all of this at work simply to get it out of my mind. I might restructure this and make it a full thing another time? For now though, this is a one-shot of a 'could've been' fanfic. Hope you enjoy regardless.
