   Summary

   Gordon always cared for Barney. Always wanted to be by their side, hold them close, and reunite once they had both escaped Black Mesa. Share a beer, hold their hand, and look out at the sunrise together. There were a lot of quiet affections that he had once wanted to share… but that was back then.

   He still cared. He knows he does… but there’s a part of him that doesn’t understand anymore. A part of him that no longer felt human. He could no longer hold back it’s overwhelming power and his need to fix what he did.
   After finally seeing the other side and grasping it's infinity, he'll do what he can to fix… everything.
