To be entirely honest, this storm wasn’t a surprise.
At least to the few past events.
Now he’s stuck back at his home. Bare and dusty. Not knowing how much time had passed since he last visited this place.
This all started as he was called back to headquarters with Sucrose having to scale all the way to his camp in cold weather during one of his most focused experiments to notify him. Which didn’t exactly bother him, but he still wishes there was just a bit more time in life so he could finish. Sucrose assured his trip to Mondstadt would be short, which pleased him. Yet, needless to say she didn’t look very well by the time they had reached base camp. Iris has suggested to take it easy. And they did, taking the time to get a meal and warm up a bit. However, that’s the moment Albedo had realized that the temperature down there was just as chilly. Looking back up at the sky, the clouds had formed as if they were going to hold rain. But not in that tempature.
