    Neither of them are getting any sleep. But they don't know each other yet. Kathryn is grieving the recent loss of her father and fiancé and Chakotay is haunted by flashbacks from his last mission.

    Their worlds are about to collide at exactly the wrong time. Chakotay is looking for permanence, whilst Kathryn wants anything but another heart to break. And even if they can overcome their personal conflict, the universe has some of its own twists to throw at them.
