Summary
You didn’t reply for a while, instead crossing your arms over your chest with a ‘hmph’ while you stared up at the ceiling. Now it’s going to be impossible for you to fall asleep. No fan blowing on you to both keep you cool and provide white noise. You could hear the wind rushing outside with the sudden blizzard you were getting, but that wasn’t enough.
“I’m never gonna be able to fall asleep.” You complained, uncrossing your arms to slam them down on the mattress like you were a toddler throwing a tantrum.
“Well not if you keep whining like a spoiled brat, you won’t.” He huffed in impatience, having not fallen asleep again yet. “Just try to go to sleep, it’ll happen eventually and I’m sure the power will come back on soon.” He told you sternly, his voice was heavily laced with annoyance.
