Summary
Jinx Lane is obsessed with Luxanna Crownguard.
She was absolutely perfect, a shining light amidst the darkness that was in Jinx's life. They weren't really close. To be clear, they weren't close at all. They had probably only spoken twice to each other but it was enough to make Jinx fall. For the first time someone had noticed her. She wasn't some weird freak or practically invisible. And while Jinx knew her fascination with Lux came from wanting to be like her, she knew that it came with wanting to be with her deep down.
Her obsession takes a new level when Jinx decides to break into Lux's apartment, wanting to be close to her. And maybe take some items that would remind Jinx of her. It starts off successful but it's not long before she's confronted with an unexpected and horrible surprise. Lux comes back home and instead of calling the police, she knocks Jinx out and when Jinx wakes up again, she's tied up in Lux's bedroom with no chance of escape.
As Jinx will quickly learn, she wasn't the only sick person. Lux was just as crazy as her. Actually... she might be worse.
