Summary
Trevor Belmont fully expected to die when he pulled his impossible stunt to kill Death. Much to his surprise, he found himself very much alive, and in the company of other people supposedly transported into another world to fight what the locals call ‘Waves Of Catastrophe’. Thankfully, there is another capable individual among the summoned ones - V, a mercenary from the world of the future with the incredible technological advancements.
V was certain she chose to have her consciousness absorbed by an AI. Waking up in a medieval world was a somewhat unpleasant surprise.
V and Trevor will have little choice but to buddy up to find a way back to their worlds. Except V fully intends to turn everything she sees into a profit opportunity and, naturally, avoid as much taxes on her profits as she possibly can. She doesn’t even need the money, thats just how she is. Saving the world in the process is just an accidental bonus at the end. Hopefully, the one that comes with a good paycheck, too.
