Emet-Selch's mate, his Azem, was lost to him thousands of years ago during the great sundering of Etheirys. Summoned back to the Source by Elidibus sometime after Lahabrea's defeat, Emet-Selch decides to take the rejoining into his own hands as he ventures to the First to set in motion a series of events that would result in another Umbral Calamity and rejoin the First to the Source. His plans go awry, however, when he discovers that the Warrior of Light is none-other than his long lost, beloved Azem. What will he do now that he knows his enemy is actually his long-lost soulmate? And that she doesn't remember him at all?
