Idea bond triggers between due to emotions and can't be broken
On ch 5
Cbq He doesn’t stop until Rem is coming to get him for dinner and finds him like that, wrists and neck bleeding from self-inflicted scratches. She tries to get him to stop but he only hisses at her, tries to claw at her when she only had been trying to help. When she is able to grab his hands, he doesn’t let that stop him, he bites their adoptive mom hard on the forearm, almost completely mad.
She’s yelling and begging for him to stop, but he can’t hear her, he’s too upset. That had been when Nai broke down the door and snatched Vash out of Rem’s hold, snarling. It was a fiasco. Apparently he had been so distressed that it had pushed Nai over the edge, made the new alpha feral, dragging them both back into their shared room and nest. They spent the rest of Nai’s short rut holed up like that.
