   Summary

   Shane had a hard time adjusting to change. Especially when he had no control over it.

   It had been a few years since Bernadette had married Harvey, a few years more still since herself and Matthew had moved into the valley. A lot had changed for the better for Shane, but he still felt stuck in place. He still lived with his aunt, and worse yet his truck had broken down. While his peers were making new decisions and their lives grew, he felt as though he was back where he started. Though this time without alcohol as a crutch.

   A relative of Willy's had moved into town, and the mirror they acted as for Shane sent him over the edge. Maybe some time off from work on the farm ought to do him some good.
