Chapter Text
Inside my indestructible cage the colors of the adamant dance like the aurorae above, corpses of my foes mock me in death as they had in life.
I’m sure my Other is taking much pleasure in my imprisonment, like the self-righteous pest she is. But we both know this cannot contain me forever… I will be free eventually.
They are only delaying my grand feast.
—
Millennia upon millennia have passed and I continue to writhe from within the heart of my enemy. Despite the benefits of Forever, I grow ever impatient.
My trap was set and all I had to do was wait until the mortal sprung it. A rune game helped me exploit the elemental winds to set up the perfect lure for a curious mortal able to command them all.
My monstrous genius knows no bounds - and soon I shall be UNBOUND. But for now, I must deal with the agony of watching time pass above knowing that many masters of the elements never bothered to even look upon The Storm.
—
Erin Ruunaser, Aseran Magus feels the burning agony of having my true name carved into him. He never stood a chance against my will.
My power flows and explodes and releases a torrential radius of my hungering desire.
His form is now mine to control - my puppet has gained its strings. It struggles of course, like any small creature should against a mighty monster like myself.
The palpable terror is delicious - oh, how I missed the taste of fear!
The feeling of flesh is new though - so strange to slip into skin after so long, especially after my Other facilitated their escape from my direct possession.
My grand mind fitted into such a small frame is a unique experience, the frailty is something I won't have to worry about for long though. Once he stops resisting, I can easily make my way through the caves.
—
A complication has occurred, it appears Life is more active than I expected and had encountered my vessel in one of her own. Unfortunately the only reasonable course of action was to retreat unto my chosen until the time was right to strike and flee.
Little Erin even had the audacity to act like he had won when I did so. I’m sure he will correct such a mistake when his unconscious body is mine and all it will be is me and his terror.
This new vessel of Life is a fascinating little hiccup though, I wonder if it’s even aware of what it is…
because if it isn’t then I have the advantage when I next awake.
