Summary
Cole knew he lost any chance with Jay the moment he asked Nya to be his Yang. It hurt, but Cole’s been slowly coming to terms with it over the last few months. Maybe if he stopped being afraid, he could've had a chance, but Cole knew he lost his chance a long time ago. Maybe in another universe, he and Jay were together, but not this one.
However, the balance shifts when a new villain appears and steals a powerful weapon from Borg Industries. Before the Ninja can get it back, the villain hits them with the weapon. However, instead of killing them, the weapon sends the Ninja somewhere… new? It was just like the Ninjago they knew and loved, but something wasn't quite right with it. As it turns out, they’d been sent to an alternate universe, and now the main six had to work together with their alternate selves to get back to their universe.
Though, as time passed, Cole noticed that he and Jay from this alternate universe seemed to have a lot more in common than he realized, both holding a dark secret deep in their hearts that could ruin everything if anyone found out. Perhaps there was a way the two of them could help each other out before they had to return home.
