Summary
Shinsou is damn good at his job. A lesser known hero by choice, but a name no offender would forget after being tangled in his psychological spiderweb. Sure, he had a few clever moves and could hold his own in a fight—he had been hand-picked and trained by the best, after all—but his real power buzzed inside his skull like a mains hum. His quirk makes him a valuable asset for recon missions, a stealthy support on the battlefield, and a terrifying force inside an interrogation room. It also drains him to a husk of a human by the end of a prolonged assignment. Overuse leaves him with a head full of thorns and cotton, throbbing between his eyes and completely exhausted, but too overfull for sleep. Brains do not easily slow down after operating on hyperextended overdrive.
But there are things that help. People who help. When his mind is in ribbons, Shinsou’s body always leads him home to remedy.
