Work Text:
It should have been basic rescue training, showing them the facilities, the equipment to be used, and the rules to keep in mind for each area.
It was their first foray as this first-year group, they were unprepared for combat, let alone facing a villain.
They weren't all prepared for what was happening in this place, and they shouldn't have been for a long time yet, but still, they were fighting for their lives at this point.
It was all a mess!
How did they know the schedules? How did they affect the intrusion sensors? How did they get so many people? Who were they? There are so many questions that might not get answered. But chief among them all would be, would the students be safe?
All those questions ran wildly through the head of the professional hero Eraserhead, as he fought, punched, jumped, trapped, and dodged the multiple attacks of the multiple low-class villains that went against him.
But he knew full well he couldn't keep it up, after all, he's more of an ambush and takedown hero, not a tank at all. And no matter how good he was at taking out these pawns, there were still the leaders who had so far just stared at him as if it didn't matter what he was doing.
And even though he trusted thirteen to take care of the students. Because of his carelessness, the one in the fog was gone, and who knew what he might be doing right now?
'Let's hope he was able to evacuate the students before that guy managed to cause a mishap' Eraserhead thought as he blinked more and more. And suddenly, he sees the one who seems to be the leader finally step forward.
So he throws his capture weapon towards him as he approaches, leaving behind the links he was facing, so that he can have better maneuverability.
But as he got closer, he noticed that the boss was counting reverse before elbowing him hard in the stomach.
"It's hard to tell from all the moves you make, but there's a moment when your hair covers your eyes," the boss said as he avoided Eraserhead's elbow hitting him with one of his hands. "That being the moment when your quirk is deactivated, what is that increasingly frequent interval", He said as he squeezed Eraserhead's elbow, and it began to disintegrate, causing a big smile to form behind the hand covering his face.
In a quick action, after seeing his elbow quickly disintegrate, Eraserhead throws a strong punch at him. Which ends up causing the villain to drop him and end up on the ground. And before two of the links take advantage of his moment of vulnerability, he manages to duck and immobilize them, even now with a nearly useless arm.
“A fantastic quirk, and even if he is, he's not made for long fights nor against crowds” said the villain as he slowly stood up “This current situation certainly is a great disadvantage for you, so tell me, why did you jump to the first line?”
“Maybe it was to protect your beloved brats, so cool, so cool…, certainly very admirable” he said already standing up as he watched with his terrifying glowing red eyes, which were hidden behind the fingers of the hand covering his face as Eraserhead defended himself from his opponents.
“By the way, dear hero,” he said in a somewhat melodious voice, which caused a shiver to run down his spine. “I'm not the final boss”
After those words, a large hand appeared behind Eraserhead's head, holding him tightly and then slamming him violently against the hard concrete of the floor several times, which ended up creating a small crater around him.
Eraserhead desperately raised his head to try to erase his attacker's gift, being ineffective, as he only responded by breaking one of his arms, making the hero scream, and then crashing him shockingly against the ground again.
'What a monstrous strength, even when I erase his quirk, he can still snap me like a twig' thought Eraserhead as blood began to cover his vision and pain shook him all over his body “How strong he is ...” And even though he began to feel his body want to fall unconscious, he couldn't, he had to protect his students, he had to hold on until reinforcements arrived.
“Certainly, very nice your quirk, but no big deal when what you are facing is a power that exceeds you, you are nothing more than extravagant”, he said very ecstatic about the situation of the poor hero who was now at his mercy.
While this was happening in the center of the USJ, much higher above their heads, more precisely at the height of the dome's ceiling, something very strange began to form, what quickly grew looking as if the sky was splitting into cracks.
“And what will you do now, hero, being subdued?” he said gloating at the despair that was gradually becoming more visible in Eraserhead's gaze, “You can't even take care of yourself anymore, how will you do it to …”
CRAG!!!
But the villain could not even finish speaking, as a loud rumbling stopped him, causing him, like everyone else who could, to turn his gaze to where this noise was coming from.
Seeing, at last, the great cracks that were forming in the sky.
These fractures, getting bigger and bigger, began to make more noises, and it seemed that even small thunders came out of them.
“What the hell?” the villain said incredulously, surprised by what he saw, being the only one who dared to mention anything since they noticed the phenomenon.
When suddenly, while they were looking at him in surprise, a strong light came out of him, causing everyone watching to cover their eyes because of how bright it was.
After we managed to escape from the wrecked area with minimal damage, Asui, Mineta, and I. The three of us headed for shore so that from there, we could return to the gate and regroup with our companions.
But I couldn't do it.
Sensei was attracting all the villains to him, and even being at a disadvantage, he was giving everything he could to protect us.
I had to do something to help him, but I couldn't do much, I had already broken the bones in one of my fingers just to get out of the wreck, and going to him would only make me a hindrance.
But in the end, we decided to stay half hidden from view of the square for the time being, to see how sensei was doing and see if we could help him in any way
So as we watched, we saw sensei fight his way through his opponents and was even able to counter the boss.
But this was not for long, as the latter managed to cause great damage to his right arm, and although he was thus injured, he continued to dodge and counterattack with great resolve.
Unfortunately, that didn't last long, because suddenly a large villain appeared, whose body was completely black, with a beak with large teeth and an exposed brain. He quickly moved behind him and with his big hand grabbed sensei's head and then violently slammed him into the ground repeatedly.
He treated him as if what he had in his hands was a rag doll and not a human being.
In a matter of seconds, our sensei had been defeated in a very violent way, and while the blood formed under his body, we could do nothing but watch the scene in front of us, paralyzed.
And even being in such a deplorable condition, with the blood covering his face and the rest spreading on the ground, while he was completely immobilized, sensei kept trying hard to free himself. Unfortunately, that only succeeded in making the creature put more strength into his frail body, and with his other free hand, he squeezed his wounded arm, breaking all his bones in it, which caused a loud and heartbreaking scream to escape him.
This was catastrophic!
With sensei's struggles, becoming slower and more tiring, as his breathing became more shallow with each passing second, we had to do something. But transfixed and horrified, we could do nothing but watch the scene before us, as the boss continued to chatter and ridicule sensei.
When suddenly, a loud bang sounded over our heads, catching our attention, and causing our eyes to shift to where the loud bang was coming from.
We found that, above our heads, large fractures were being generated in the sky, from which came the now numerous cracking and thundering noises.
“What the hell?” were the only words anyone could say about what was in front of us.
They were honestly the best words that could explain what most would be thinking about this anomaly.
Which were quickly getting bigger and bigger.
When suddenly, a strong glow came out of it, causing all of us who were looking at it in surprise to cover our eyes because of how strong and sudden it was.
What was that all about, was it a quirk from one of the villains that came, but the leader also seemed confused as to what was going on?
If it was one of his men, they must know their quirks and have some idea of what was going on, but it seemed they did not.
By the time the glow finally diminished, and we could see the place again, the fractures and cracks were gone
And to everyone's surprise, in their place, stood a young man somewhat older than us. He was wearing a very aristocratic black military uniform, which was too elegant, but which suited him very well with his long reddish hair, which seemed to dance in the air.
The young man, still in heaven, opened his eyes, and as he looked around, I couldn't help but feel that his gaze would crush me, it was as if a great aura came out of him and made me submit to him.
When he suddenly stopped, he closed his eyes again and let out what seemed to be a deep sigh. For some reason I couldn't keep my gaze from being completely fixed on that man, I felt I shouldn't miss any of the moves he made.
After releasing the last of his sighs, he opened his eyes again, this time seemed bored, as if he wished he was anywhere but here.
Who was this guy?
The children had fun running and chasing each other in the yard. Choi Han trained with the wolf children and some tigers. Rosalyn and Eruhaben were in the laboratory she had built for them. Ron was seeing some things on the eastern continent and Beacrox was overseeing Hope and Adventure Loving Inn and its branches.
So Hans takes care of me so that I can enjoy snacks and sweet teas of my choice, without expecting something bitter like a lemon from hell.
This was simply paradise, after all, I just had to keep reading in my rocking chair and enjoy my lazy life that I had a hard time winning.
But obviously, happiness does not last forever, because suddenly, while I was picking up one of the cookies that Hans had brought recently, a strong light shone in front of me, and when I was finally able to open my eyes again, I saw I found myself floating in a place where I am. I'm sure I've never seen it in my life.
And if it wasn't just being teleported, without permission, back to a point where I had never been, there were many people looking at me in a strange way.
"What the hell!"
Surely this has to be the fault of that damn useless.
To make matters worse, he didn't even send me to a quiet area, but teleported me to a place that looks like a conflict zone.
-"Cale, where are we?"
-"Surely he was one of those damn gods again"-
- "Cale, don't worry, we're still with you"-
-"Cale, that guy, it seems that they are crushing him, something has to be done" -
- "Cale, when we return, we have to burn all the temples of those useless gods"-
-"But first we're going to steal all his fortune, Cale"-
- "Yes, and with that we buy a lot of food"-
-"Cale, that guy with hands is looking at you with a very annoying look, you have to put him in his damn place"
- "Cale, please don't do anything dangerous"-
Luckily, it seems that my old powers also came with me, although as always, they were being very noisy, so I disconnected from their ramblings. As I looked around, I saw this new world into which I was thrown, in which it seemed, again, that I would have to interfere.
Didn't he say that I could rest now, because he's going to make me work again?
And the worst thing is that he sends me without information and without payment. You will see when I return, I will hit you so hard that you will never give me your work again, loss of space for God's sake.
After thinking about all the new work I will have and those that will surely come later, I could not stop a big sigh from escaping from my lips.
"Why is it so difficult to be a rich slacker?"
Well, I'd better take care of what he sent me, and from there I'll be able to rest quickly.
And as I thought about what I would have to do to return, a hoarse and irritating voice interrupted my thoughts.
"But who the hell are you?" A subject shouted as he pointed one of his fingers at me, which seemed to have a strange fetish with his hands.
- "As Cale dares to talk to you like that, not only do I look at you badly, but now he is disrespecting you, we have to get rid of that damn son of a bitch," Sky Eating Water said very annoyed.
"To appear like this so suddenly and show off, as if you were a surprise boss," he said more irritated, putting his hands around his neck and starting to scratch him wildly.
He kept talking as if he couldn't wait any longer, his voice became more shrill and annoying.
-Are you one of those heroes who come to boast of saving the day - apparently, every second that did not respond at all, much more irritated - and save all the students -
While I was ignoring the ridiculous nonsense that the stranger said, hero nonsense, I began to descend with the sound of the wind.
When I was finally on the floor and I saw more closely what was happening.
I could see how there are children hidden nearby, possibly the students, and as the glutton said, there was someone who was being immobilized with a lot of violence.
I hope it's not happening what I think.
-Damn MPC! - He kept looking like he was going to explode in any second, without a doubt this annoying guy is the one I have to face.
Why do I always have to deal with crazy people?
When she suddenly stops, from what seemed to be her tantrum as suddenly as if it had never happened, and with a calmer voice but full of hatred, she said to herself.
"Nomu, take care of this MPC," he said as a smile formed behind that horrible hand, "we can find out how he got there while we took care of him."
After those words, the great creature that was immobilizing the man got up, and after releasing a loud roar, ran to my position.
When I saw how fast he moved and how he had moved away from the other person, my heart began to beat like crazy, causing the dominant aura to come out of me a little stronger than usual.
This caused both the creature and the subject to freeze in their positions. Also looking out of the corner of the eye that it is also reaching the children, so I lowered it again.
After all, it will be better to focus it where it should be.
-What... what are you doing?, Nomu, kill that guy-
"Nomu!" He shouted desperately, and although he showed more courage than most people, it was obvious that he was also hurting him. Interesting, only someone who has felt similar auras can show that resistance.
But even with his screams, the creature did not advance, on the contrary, what he did was withdraw and try to get smaller, something that would seem nice if it were not for its monstrous appearance and the blood that covered his hands.
"How annoying," I said as I looked at this repulsive-looking creature.
To then focus my aura that I had completely released towards him.
What caused the creature that seconds before wanted to flee to stop and release a loud sound, for seconds later to start hitting hard.
The creature hit harder and harder with every second that passed, causing pieces of its body to be torn from it and blood to flow.
And as I looked, I could see how he began to recover and then hurt himself again seconds later.
But what a grotesque scene, every second I looked at my heart accelerates more, and more, what was happening to this being.
They looked like the beasts of the forest of darkness when they were in the presence of a dragon.
- "Cale, this creature has a healing power like yours," said the crying man.
- "Cale, be careful, that creature doesn't seem normal at all," said Super Rock, sounding as always like a worried grandfather.
- "Yes, Cale, I can feel something like the black despair of that being, although it doesn't look like anything we've seen before," said the stingy sounding serious.
"Like black despair, I didn't expect to meet something like that again, much less in another world"
Knowing what I had to do, I went ahead and prepared for what they would surely send me to this place.
-You were created from the despair of the people, right? - I said as I approached the creature with calm steps - I will purify your despair - starting to invoke the fire of destruction.
"Come on Cale, I'll take care of eliminating it," said the stingy, very happy to purify that horrendous despair he felt.
- "Cale, don't hurt yourself" - said the super rock, as if I never put my security above all things.
And with the lightning forming and rumbling in the sky, I just had to throw them.
The rays hit fiercely against the creature, from which strong moans began to come out, very similar to those of the golems, and the parts that were touched by the rays began to burn and turn into pink ash that flew around the beast.
The view was incredible, everyone who looked at the center of the square was left speechless, the large and creepy creature caught fire with each lightning so that then the ashes that were generated flew like Sakura petals with the striking color. pink gold.
A few minutes later, the creature was no longer there, it had disappeared with the screams it generated, leaving behind the golden ashes, the only physical memory that had been in this place. It almost looked like a movie scene, and like one of them, they just watched it, until someone interrupted the incredible moment.
- What did you do to my Nomu? - Shigaraki shouted loudly - This should not happen, the Nomu was created to be able to defeat All Might - he was enraged, his sensei told him that he was invincible - He had the necessary peculiarities to achieve it-
"What did you do? Are you a cheating code? Or are you using an error?" He said scratching himself, and if he seemed crazy before, now he seemed completely upset.
- You are a cheater! A cheater! - He scratched so much that the blood began to come out of these wounds.
"You must be eliminated," he shouted as he took momentum and threw himself towards Cale, he was determined, he had to eliminate this anomaly.
Then, with his hand outstretched, he threw himself towards the redhead, ready to eliminate him as soon as he was at his fingertips. And being centimeters away from touching him, his body stopped.
And this time not because of the presence of the redhead, who now stopped, began to feel it more strongly than before.
No.
He was stopped by rocks and stones that were previously part of the ground, he was imprisoned so that he could not move an inch, and these rocks held him in such a way that not even his fingers could touch each other.
And with each fight he made, the stones tightened more, to the point that he thought he would be crushed by them.
"What kind of peculiarity did this guy have?"
The question began to form in Shigaraki's head.
Flight, portals, aura, lightning and earth.
Everything that the redhead in front of him showed seemed unrelated, it was... It was almost as if I had more than one peculiarity.
"As sensei"
That revelation didn't help him at all, with the fear that took over his body with every second that passed, was that aura again? But it felt more intense.
At that moment, he realized that that weak-looking redhead was just that, a look. Since what he had in front of him was something that he didn't think he would see again in another person, and that scared him more than the aura that oppressed him.
They had to leave quickly, I had to call Kurogiri to leave that place now. But the idea of opening his mouth and bothering the being with a solemn face in front of him made his throat dry and not a scream escaped from his lips.
But from the corner of his eye, he could distinguish the familiar flatter from the purple fog, an obvious sign of one of Kurogiri's portals.
And as if he had been called by Shigaraki's thoughts, the fogs formed Kurogiri, who did not seem very happy, something difficult to notice with his smoky face, but living with him almost all his life, he came to distinguish those small changes.
"I suggest that you free the young Shigaraki," Kurogiri said with specks of fog floating around him, "It would be bad if something happened to the children due to their actions."
After those words, his fog became bigger and more violent, ready to open wherever his teacher asked him to.
- Are you threatening me? - said the redhead who was still in front of Shigaraki.
He had not moved from his position, only his cold reddish brown eyes no longer looked at him, and instead, he saw Kurogiri not at all impressed.
- I will only say it once - and suddenly something changed as if a switch had been activated - I don't take the threats well-
After those words, Kurogiri fell to his knees on the floor and his body trembled uncontrollably, he didn't even look up anymore, he just looked at the floor, and it seemed that his arms were only holding him.
"Who was this scary guy"?
- "What happened to those idiots?, threatening me" - I got upset.
Because he always had to deal with idiots who thought that by threatening me they would get away with it.
And putting children in this, even if it was a piece of garbage, I would never do that.
But no matter what world he was in, he would always have the misfortune of running into complete bastards who deserved a beating in the back.
Aigu, his poor life, because he could never find nice people who would let him rest.
At least it seemed that he already had those who seemed to have led this attack, so he could soon return to his beloved rest.
But since he's here, you'd better see the others, it would be bad if they're hurt and he didn't do anything.
Then I turned and looked at where I thought I had seen some children last time.
And as expected, there they were, paralyzed and with strange looks on their faces.
"Why did they look at him like that?"
It will be better to finish soon and not think about the meaning of those looks.
"Are they injured?" I said as he watched them looking for any damage that could be overlooked.
When my words reached them, they seemed to come out of their stunning and then adopted defensive positions with each other, making sure that the other two were close to each other.
Undoubtedly these children cared about each other, and although it was noticeable that they were very scared, they were willing to defend themselves against any potential threat.
How could there be someone who put the children in a situation like this? Undoubtedly, there was always some bastard who only thought of himself and caused chaos wherever he went.
Just remembering all those unfortunate people that I had to find in my life made my eyebrows furrow involuntarily.
What bothered the children more, who seemed a little more terrified than seconds before.
One even looked like he was going to pass out.
Mastering my expression and seeing that they didn't seem to respond, I simply took out a potion that I always carried with me thanks to Raon and I went to the very badly injured body that I assumed was his teacher.
When they saw me heading towards the man, they seemed to flutter more, until they finally came out of the water.
Probably worried about what I could do to him.
In front of the man I could see how his breathing was superficial and how his blood did not stop coming out of him, it was a miracle that in his state he was still alive.
Strouting in front of him, you can see how he was trying to look up, it was very serious and cold. Even with his condition, it seemed that he would continue to fight, even if it was the last thing he did.
Definitely a look from someone who wouldn't give up, no matter what was put in front of him.
How I liked that look.
With a smile, I opened the high-quality potion and spilled it.
The actions of the redhead surprised those who watched and the one who was soaked, after all, this guy had just carelessly spilled a liquid of dubious origin on someone seriously injured.
And this would not be his only surprise, since after the liquid touched him, he began to sizzle, and the wounds that previously bled began to close quickly, some even disappeared completely.
Not to mention his arm that minutes before was almost destroyed, at that moment he was recovering and almost felt as if he had just received a scratch.
"If you're better, get up and have one," said the redhead as he left another of those bottles next to Eraserhead, without the smile of seconds before, and instead was his indifferent look.
After that, he got up again and looked at the students.
They had stopped a few steps back surprised, and although they were still on the defensive, you could see that their curiosity was winning over their caution.
"Take one too if you are injured," he said while taking out three more bottles from who knows where, and then threw them at them.
They quickly grabbed them, more instinctively than anything else, and then looked surprised at the redhead.
Who was he? What were you doing here? And what were his intentions? Those who watched him wondered.
That guy simply appeared and defeated the villains as if it were nothing complicated, all with a face of almost constant boredom.
Eraserhead got up and finished drinking the strange liquid, which finished taking away the last of his tiredness, he began to observe this mysterious person.
After all, even though he helped them and didn't seem like a threat to them, he shouldn't have lowered his guard, much less knowing how he got rid of that great creature that had destroyed him minutes before.
But something in his body told him to calm down, that he could trust that person and that he was now safe. And although he normally followed his instincts, he couldn't be sure, the children could still be at risk and all this was just a trick.
Removing the captured weapon, which although damaged, it will be better for him to have something at hand that he can stop if he tries something strange.
"It seems that everything is fine now," said the young redhead as he looked around with that indifferent look, before taking out many more of those bottles and placing them on the floor.
-I'll leave soon, take these too, in case there's someone else hurt by the environment, just make him drink it-
"How could he leave? So, so suddenly, and where did he keep getting so many bottles from?"
When I was about to open my mouth to start interrogating this mysterious person and prevent him from escaping.
A loud noise stopped him and, when observing the noise, he could see how the doors of the USJ had been exaggeratedly blewn.
Obviously, it was neither more nor less than All Might, finally, that damn jester dares to appear.
With the sounds of the battle, the surroundings are calm and the leaders of the attack are trapped.
Surely he would return soon, after all the person in charge of the children is already better, and he does not believe that they need it for anything else, as long as no more beings appear in desperation, he does not believe that he has been summoned back.
And although a blond man had just arrived breaking the doors, it didn't seem to be a threat, after all the children relaxed their posture completely just by seeing it.
This work was not bad, and although he was interrupted from his much-deared rest, at least he had already finished, and it didn't seem that his body was retreating when using his powers.
It almost seemed that everything was going to go well and that he could rest comfortably in his rocking chair again.
But of course, it wasn't like that, because after thinking about his well-deserved rest and the delights he would receive when he got home, a strong cough shook his body.
It was so strong that his whole body staggered and a shiver ran through him, followed by more.
Obviously this did not go unnoticed by the people around him. They saw how the young man who had saved them minutes before was shaken by a strong cough, and the fingers that covered his lips could be seen as a crimson liquid began to drain between them.
"What's going on? Don't even overdo it with my powers, why does my body have this reaction?"
And although he was not entirely surprised by the reaction of his body, it only gave him curiosity and a little annoyance, it was not like that for everyone else, but since he was not paying attention, he did not notice anything.
Since the people around him were plunged into chaos, because at that moment the person who minutes before seemed untouchable to them now seemed as if he was going to collapse in any second, looking so fragile that they were even afraid to touch him since it seemed that he would break at the slightest contact.
And perhaps his worries were not in vain, since a few seconds after starting to cough, his body began to disintegrate as if it were sand.
"Damn it, then it was you," he said as he watched his body disintegrate with his voice hoarse from the cough.
"You're a fucking God..." but before finishing his last words he disappeared completely.
Those present could see how he disappeared as if he had never been there, all surprised, they did not realize how Kurogiri, without the pressure of the redhead, escaped with Shigaraki. At that time they only wondered if what they had just experienced was real and what would come next.
The whole situation was so surreal, maybe something they had just experienced made sense, they have just been invaded by villains, they are separated in a space they don't know and they have to fight to survive.
His teacher is destroyed, and then a young man appears and annihilates a guy who was supposedly made of despair and had destroyed sensei.
Then his teacher was healed by the same young man, and then All Might appeared, and the young man had a cough attack and then disappeared as if he had never been here, not without first cursing a god.
These last 10 minutes may be the ones you will never forget in your life.
I just wanted all this to end and go back to his house to write everything down in his notebook and then sleep all weekend.
- Eh... eh? What's going on? All Might said smiling back, but it was obvious that he was very nervous. I certainly didn't think I had the strength to even respond to All Might, my brain needed a break.
Aizawa sensei, who seemed to be much more tired than usual, and still didn't think he should be left without worries, simply let out a long and deep sigh.
"They don't pay me enough for all this garbage," he said as he covered his eyes with his arm previously injured.
Certainly, he sympathized with sensei at this time.
-Human ...
-Human...
I could hear a very familiar voice calling me.
-Human, wake up!-
That was Raon's voice, when I realized that, and when I realized that my eyes were closed, I opened them and looked at the owner of the calls.
And as I imagined, it was Raon who was now flying a few centimeters from my face.
"Human, you finally wake up, you've been sleeping in your rocker for almost 3 hours, and it's time to eat," he said with a tender frown as he encouraged me to get up.
"I'm sorry Raon, I fell asleep and had a strange dream, so I thank you for waking me up to go eat," I said as I caressed the soft scales of Raon's head.
- A strange dream? I ask as he looked at me with his big inquisitive blue eyes.
"Don't worry, it was just an unusual dream, and it doesn't matter anymore," he said, taking away the value of the strange dream, after all, to worry him about something that surely didn't mean anything and had no value.
-I understand human, we'd better go eat because Beacrox also came back and prepared steak-
Yes, this was much better than thinking about annoying things.
"Yes, let's go," I said as I was taking me to the door of my room.
"And Raon, what if we plunder some churches of the god of death later?" I said while a big smile appeared on my face.
Which was encouraged by the cute chubby dragon that was flying next to me.
Dream or not, that useless god should not pay for the headaches that only his existence generates.
