Summary
That night Hizashi knew that something was wrong with Shouta. He knew it from the way he hugged Toshi a bit longer and tighter than usual. Saw it in his eyes when he patted Eri's head. Felt it in his kiss that felt just a bit too final for his liking. When he left for patrol he looked back that night, Shouta made a big fuss of not looking back before leaving for patrol, not telling them he loves them, not hugging them good-bye because he'll do that when he's back alive, it makes him have to come back alive. That night he did all those things, he hugged his children and kissed his husband, told them he loves them and left glancing back over his right shoulder. Hizashi knew something was wrong but he didn't stop him. He put Eri to bed and sent Hitoshi to his room and then he sat, waiting for pro hero Eraserhead in their living room.
