Chapter 2: . loomis

Summary:

y/n meets two new strangers.

Chapter Text

y/n woke up in a cold sweat jumping up a little, something she had been doing a lot recently. she glanced to her side still feeling exhausted and looked the time 4:46 am. she reached for her glass of water. empty.

'for fucks sake.' she thought. she sat up in bed, ripped the covers off her and swung her feet round to the side. she tried to stand up but fell to the floor due to tripping over a pile of books she forgot about. the books where based on fake serial killers that have been adapted from real life ones, for example michael myers or bubba sawyer. personally jason voorhees was her favourite.

she picked herself up, grabbed her glass and clumsily walked her way downstairs to the kitchen. y/n refilled her water and sat down at the table with het laptop set up.

since she had turned 18 a few years ago she managed to save enough money for a small two bedroom apartment in the shadier side of the town. the town was literally called shady side.

it was expensive but she was willing to do anything to get her and her little sister lola out of her parents grasp. they had never physically hurt y/n but the mental and verbal abuse was enough to make anyone go insane. she wasn't willing to let lola go through the same so she became her legal guardian after her parents died of unknown causes.

the place they rented was around £200 a month just for the home, with electricity and water bills plus whatever else they need to buy for the month like food it cost quite a bit.

y/n worked at the local coffee shop as a barista which brang in the majority of the household funds. besides that she loved to write books, she had a few published but not a lot of people brought them. currently she was in a writers block and had been for a few months.

after battleing with herself over what to write she eventually slumped down and drifted of back to sleep until lola came trotting down stairs with a big smile. she saw y/n passed out on the table from no sleep and too much screen time. shaking her awake y/n once again woke up with a jump.

"oh, good morning lola." y/n said in a sleepy voice. "what time is it?"

lola replied cheerily with a big smile on her face "its 8:35."

"HUH?! MOTHERFUCKER, WE ARE GONNA BE LATE!" she yelled rushing up the stairs. "LOLA PUT YOUR BREAKFEAST IN A WATERBOTTLE!"

while y/n was rushing to get her uniform on lola was tying her hair up and putting cornflakes and milk in a water bottle with a plastic spoon. y/n ran back downstairs and helped lola finish her hair. she rushed lola out the door and they got walking to school.

after finally dropping lola off she was 20 minutes late for work.

she didnt have any type of transport or enough money to take the bus so she would walk to work. the route was one she knew well, taking it everyday for years. she often cut through the alleyways and there had never been any problems besides a few cat fights and the odd drunken man but today something was different. she felt strange and uneasy like she was being followed. ignoring it she kept going to work thinking that she was just having an off morning due to her lack of sleep.

after finally arriving at work she was chewed out by her boss clarita she got behind the counter and started taking orders. it was a pretty slow day until two gorgeous men walked into the small shop. one was around 5'10 with amazing brown eyes and dirty blonde hair. his eyes looked crazy but so intriguing at the same time.

the other was about 6'0 with blonde hair and an insanely dirty beige sweater. not to mention the goofy grin on his face as soon as he spotted the girl behind the counter.

"hey, welcome what can I get you?" she questioned.

"yeah can we get two chocolate fraps, 5 white coffees and a pupaciono." the shorter one replied.

"Alright and the name for that?" she asked smiling up at him.

"loomis."

Chapter 3: calm before the storm

Summary:

a 'calm' night

Chapter Text

"billy?" y/n called as the dashing stranger walked up and took his cup.

"thanks doll." he said paying, leaving a considerate tip on the counter. she picked up the folded £10 pound note and a small piece of paper fell out. she took the tip and put the money in the register.

the paper read:

ᵇⁱˡˡʸ
44+ 70994 69696

she shoved it into her pocket before her co-workers saw and called her out for it.

after walking to lolas school and making the trip back home y/n slumped on to the sofa not even bothering to make her way up stairs as lola ran of upstairs to entertain herself - she'd just got new dolls and needed to get them settled asap - meanwhile y/n's thoughts drifted to the two boys that walked into her work this morning.

she reached into her jean pocket and pulled the slip of paper out along with her phone, typing the number in and a quick hi with a smiley face, hoping to god it didnt come off to strong or confident she hit send. putting her phone down she left to get some water but heard a *ding* as soon as she made it to the kitchen door, making her immediately run back to the sofa.

unknown: hi :)

unknown: hey doll

unknown: uhm, is this billy from the coffee shop?

billy: sure is.

unknown: good, i was worrying I'd messaged some creep.

billy: haha, im not a creep. promise :)

unknown: thank god.

billy: hey you mind if i add my friend? he was with me today, im sure you didnt miss him he's like 6 foot.

unknown: i dont mind :)

*+44 7897 6666 added*

unknown*: whats up coffee girl?

unknown: huh?

billy: yeah sorry, we still dont know your name.

y/n: oh its y/n.

y/n: i know billy but what about your name?

stu: oh im stu.

billy: so how old are you?

y/n: im 23. How bout you guys?

stu: see i knew she wasnt that old! im 20 and billys 21.

billy: stu dont be rude.

the night went on with them talking about anything and everything they could come up with but eventually y/n had to leave, she did have a child to take care of.

at the time she hadnt realised it but she had just told two unpredictable, notorious serial killers her name, age, place of work, family and where she lived in an 'innocent' conversation. she had also sparked their interest with her dry humour, fiery personality and her passion for serial killers. they would definitely be making some late night calls, visits and texts to her.

"lola!" y/n called. there was no reply so she walked up the stairs to see lolas door shut, which was odd because it was never shut. y/n knocked on the door and walked inside. "lola?" peeking in she saw lola hunched over something. as she approached lola turned around allowing y/n to see what she was so busy tending to. it was some sort of doll, it looked old and kind of burnt. it was in fancy clothes and had very pale skin.

"whats that?" y/n questioned looking very worried, she hadnt brought that.

"a gift from a friend at school, that gave him to me! isnt he so cool?" lola seemed excited over the doll.

"yeah sure he is." she said with uncertainty. she chose to ignore it, moving on with the night. "how about we go get some dinner and then watch a scary movie?" lola nodded excitedly, grabbed her doll and ran downstairs. she loved when y/n would let her watch scary movies they had both grown up on them.

after eating they sat on the sofa watching the new stab. It was called stab 9, very original compared to the other 8 stabs. Leelee always loved horror just like her older sister. Even though she was so young she already had favourite which was ghostface, she loved ghostface and hated freddy krueger. y/n quite liked freddy he was funny.

sometime between the opening kill and the principle dying they both fell asleep, the doll joining them on the sofa.

Chapter Text

y/n awoke to the sound of the phone ringing. groaning she leans over and grabs the houses landline.

"hello?" she asks.

a deep voice responds, "hello y/n."

"uhh who is this?"

"a friend." the voice replied

"a friend? have we like met before or something?" she questioned.

chuckling the caller said "maybe, maybe not."

"well goodbye then." y/n hangs up, sets the phone down and leans back to fall into a peaceful sleep. sadly for her the phone rings again, reaching back over and picking it up she says "seriously dude, stop calling." and once again the phone is out down. straight away the phone rings again. 'this guy is relentless' she thought. y/n answers the phone again

"listen asshole-" the voice interrupted her saying

"no you listen you little bitch, hang up on me again ill gut you like a fish."

"cmon man thats not even scary! been done already by ghostface, if your going to threaten me at least be original." y/n answered unimpressed. the voice sighed and hung up. 'weird as fuck.' she thought. too tired to care she went straight back to sleep failing to notice the man standing directly behind her.

tiny arms nudge y/n awake, "ughhhhhhh" she groaned, "whattttt."

"y/nnnn! please wake upp, im sooo bored." a childish voice called out, still half asleep y/n was extremely confused. that voice didnt sound like lolas at all. she sits up struggling to get the weighted blanket off of her. the first thing she sees is that creepy ginger doll staring directly at her and no lola. "what the actual fuck." she kicks the doll off the sofa and goes on a hunt for lola.

"lola where are you?"

"in here!" a small voice came from inside her room. walking in y/n saw lola already dressed for school with her hair done perfectly. "oh wow you learnt how to do your own hair?"

"no silly chucky did it for me" lola replied in a happy voice. "chucky? whose chucky?"

"my doll of course, he did it for me." she replied still smiling. "your doll... did your hair?"

"yes! now pleasee hurry i dont wanna be late, i need to talk to sam!" she rushed of to the kitchen.

"wha- sam w-who is sam?!"

"cmon y/n!" still confused both lola and y/n get ready for the day and head out to school with the doll in hand. "alright then, have a good day and ill see you later yeah?"

"bye y/n" lola hugs her legs and runs off with that creepy doll still in hand, its beedy blue eyes staring back at her.

y/n decides the doll is a problem for another day, for now she needs to get to work and figure out who the hell called her last night.

the walk to work was slow and uneventful once again.

"this goddamn machine!" her co-worker called out, the beeping of a broken coffee machine nearly drowning her out. a customer has gotten mad and thrown his iced latte at it, breaking it then bolted out of the place, everyone was annoyed.

"y/n take my orders would ya? i need to call the repair company." before she could even reply her co-worker was walking away phone in hand.

"this is gonna be a great morning." she mumbles to herself getting ready to handle all of the orders by herself, they really needed new staff. before she could even start she heard a familliar voice, "well hi there stranger, working again?"

Chapter 5: red car

Summary:

more bill n stu.

Notes:

heyhey i just wanted to let you know i have another book coming out very soon. its a lot better written than this one and is so much more longer and detailed. this is why this new chapter has took 2 month (oops) so updates will be supper slow on all my works. also if your reading on wattpad sorry i had an unfinished version of this chapter posted for over a month... i didnt notice ngl.

Chapter Text

"yep, working like usual. what can i get started for you?" she replied giving a tired smile.

"same as last time."

"alrighty, ill be right back."

y/n returned to them with the drinks, "here, same as last time." the two boys paid for the drinks and walked out to their car.

y/n continued to take orders, not having a break or getting to sit down for the entire shift. it was dark outside now around 7 pm, lola had been picked up by a friends parents for a sleepover and she had the whole house to herself.

she was the last one out meaning she had to clean and lock up before leaving. grabbing the broom she starts sweeping all the dust and left-behind rubbish in too one pile then using a dust pan and brush to sweep it all off the floor into a binbag. she also mopped and threw away all the food and pastries in the cases ready for the morning. picking up two giant binbags she used the side of her hip to open the doors and take the rubbish round the back.

opening the the bin lid she threw the bin bags into the bigger bin, scrunching her nose from the rancid smell. the wind howled past her making her stumble a bit. shutting the bin she starts leaving back into the small costa shop but not before hearing the bin lid open again. whipping back around she saw nothing, thinking shes going crazy she ignores it and walks back inside.

grabbing the keys she locks the back door first and wiggles the doorknob making sure its locked tight. grabbing her bag and coat from her locker she leaves through the front door locking it behind her. its pitch black outside and y/n is struggling to navigate the parking lot. she uses her keys and car lights to see where she is and then sits inside her car.

she checks her phone before she starts to drive off. y/n notices that another red car also pulled off of the parking lot and took the same root she did. thinking it was odd how the car was basically tailing her she turned right three times to test if they were actually following.

they never left y/ns sight.
