“Say, Ms Miorine, why do you want to go to Earth?” Suletta Mercury asked her fiancee randomly as the two were watering the plants in the garden. The red-haired girl recalled that Miorine Rembran was heading to Earth during their first meeting, and was curious about why her destination was that planet, specifically.
“I just wanted to run away from the school and my Dad, that’s all. Just a coincidence that the transport ship was heading there. Oh, and despite all the riots, the planet is still habitable.” Miorine was surprised at the sudden question.
Suletta beamed as she heard Mio’s answer, as she suddenly had a bright idea.
“We have a long school break ahead, right? Why don’t we visit Earth, then? I have never been there either.”
Miorine thought for a while as she finished watering the plants. The company was more or less taken care of by the Earth House as well as her father, and they would have no class for around a month when the school break arrived.
“Sure, let’s go to Earth by then. Which means that we need to start planning it up immediately.”
Naturally, they could not fly to Earth on Aerial, so they need to get commercial flight tickets. Miorine booked them straight away on her way back to their dorm, the silver-haired girl subconsciously let out a soft smile as she was happy to have a trip with her groom.
The day before the trip, the two girls were busy packing up their stuff; a month of the journey would require a lot of luggage after all.
“Don’t forget to bring the necessary documents, Suletta!” Miorine reminded the redhead about everything that she might need. Surprisingly, even though Miorine’s room was all messy, she seemed to have no difficulty finding the stuff she needs. Suletta could not help but be amazed at such a display. The couple spent the entire day packing their luggage and before they knew it, the sky was already dark. Time really flew when they are occupied.
At night, Suletta could not sleep as she was overly excited about the trip.
“Are you a kid, or what…?” Miorine grumbled, especially since Suletta keep on turning and tossing.
“Go to bed already! I’ll leave you behind if you can’t get up tomorrow.” The silver-haired girl huffed as Suletta tried her best to sleep.
“Fine, you can sleep up here, but as long as you keep quiet.” Miorine even asked the redhead to join her on the more comfortable bed. It surely helped as Suletta stopped fidgeting so that she did not wake Miorine up. Miorine looked adorable when she is asleep, after all.
The ‘groom’ eventually fell asleep after staring at her bride’s sleeping face for almost an hour.
“Suletta Mercury, wake up!” Miorine tugged on the blanket the next morning as the redhead almost overslept for the trip. She only fell asleep at 1 am, after all so she yawned all the way to the bathroom. As she washed her face and brushed her teeth, Suletta hummed happily as she was glad that Miorine did not really leave her behind.
“Don’t forget your bag! Your passport is already in there.” Miorine reminded Suletta about it as she waited for the groom to finish dressing up. She even had the house tidied up in the morning while Suletta was still sleeping.
"The ride is here already! Get in the car while I lock the door." Miorine let out a sigh of relief as Suletta managed to finish on time. The silver-haired girl really had everything arranged until the two girls were eventually on board.
“Now let’s review our plans.” Suletta and Miorine got themselves comfortable the moment they boarded the flight. Miorine let out a notebook filled with their potential destinations as the two girls arrange their itineraries. The places were suggested by the members of the Earth House when asked about the wonderful things on Earth. Ranging from Nature to local monuments of each prefecture. Due to the limited time, the two girls will focus on the ‘Japan Travel Tour’, as suggested by Nika who was most familiar with the area. As the two girls reviewed the destinations together, they were getting more excited about the trip. They would totally take pictures at every stop, all 28 of them.
Their first destination: Shibuya, Tokyo.
As Miorine was planning on the days for each stop, she could feel Suletta’s head getting closer to her, as the redhead eventually leaned on her. Turns out she fell asleep on the silver-haired girl’s shoulder.
Must be because she could not sleep last night. Cute. Miorine thought to herself as she let her be. The bride smiled as she covered her groom’s body with a blanket, before eventually closing her book and falling asleep as well.
