Summary
You see, Kakashi-sensei’s place is only slightly newer that Naruto’s, but it’s also better maintained. He’s a more particular housekeeper then Naruto tended to be, although the habit was rubbing off, and it was usually relatively tidy and clean. It’s also better laid out and arranged than Naruto’s cramped, disorganized space. Naruto can barely get a shower that’s more than lukewarm, but Kakashi had almost thirty minutes of hot water that didn’t run out. It’s just a bit larger than Naruto’s but it’s more thoroughly insulated and quieter, decorated more nicely, and it just felt more like home. More importantly than any of the superficial things though, is the simple fact that Kakashi-sensei’s apartment had Kakashi in it, and all Naruto had in hers was the spider building a web in the corner of the ceiling and the ever-coughing old man a few doors down.
