Summary
He catches them in a stare down. The chao is sitting on a large cabinet filled with Shadow's tools, Miles is on the floor with a wrench in his hand. Both stare at each other unblinking, but the chao is staring with venom while Miles stares with curiosity. He gekkers quietly, his ears folding back as he hands the chao a wrench. The chao just squeaks again and ticks a little cchhh at the end, this time obviously angered.
"Don't be rude." Shadow frowns, picking up his Chao by its scruff. "This is Miles, say hello."
