   Summary

   Poe is a First Order General. He tries to gain advantage in his rivalry with Hux, and he’s been granted an opportunity to do so when the team that he sent to the old Resistance’s base retrieved valuable data that could give the First Order advantage over the loathsome Resistance. The only issue is that this piece of information is encrypted in a way that only one person in the galaxy can decipher - Mitth'raw'nuruodo, popularly known as Thrawn, and he hasn’t been heard of in the last thirty years.
