Summary
Joel and Ellie arrive back in Jackson following the events of Season One to find that the house they had previously stayed in is no longer vacant. Tommy reassures them that they can stay with his friend, the town electrician, Mia.
Joel isn’t able to ignore the immediate attraction and unnerving possessiveness he feels toward her; but Mia has much more restraint, holding Joel at arm's length for as long as she can. But when they’re forced to work closely together on a new construction project, things start to shift.
It’s only once Mia starts letting him in that Joel realizes why she’s built her walls up so high.
