Work Text:
Jisung was at the store because Minho ordered him to go. Reason being they had absolutely no groceries for dinner. He let out a breath as he made his way down the bread aisle, looking for Minho's proclaimed favoured “whole wheat bread”. That’s all he’d eat for some reason, something about not liking the bread with seeds on the crust. (If he was being honest, he wasn’t too fond of the seeded crust either)
As he rounded the corner, he passed by the candy section. He paused, retracing his steps, and stopped in front of it. He stared at the collection of candy on the shelves, settling on a box of chocolate pretzels. He wasn’t sure if Minho liked them, and if he didn’t, more for him. He grabbed the box of chocolate and put them in the cart, moving along with his shopping. He got the rest of the items on the list that Minho had—oh so nicely of him—written down and threw it in his face.
He went to the till and placed the food on the checkout line, getting out his credit card. The cashier eyed him as she checked the groceries.
“Did your girlfriend send you here?” She asked, looking back down to continue working. He blinked before answering.
“Something like that. We needed food for dinner so I got sent to get the food,” He explained, watching the bagger place the food in the plastic bags. The cashier nodded, going back to work.

“Hannie!”
“Yeah?”
“Did you get my whole wheat bread?”
“Yes I did, and a little gift,” Jisung said with a chuckle. He placed the final piece of food in the fridge and went to the sofa with the box of pretzels in hand. Minho followed him with his eyes as he sat next to him. Jisung paid it no mind as he worked open the box of pretzels, ripping the cardboard.
“Hannie,”
“Yes?”
“Look at me,”
So he did, immediately being met with the lips of his lover. Jisung was shocked for a second before melting into the kiss, his hand meeting the side of Minho’s face. They broke apart, staring at each other. Jisung blinked, a little confused.
“What, are you that excited to see me?” He teased.
“Mmm, maybe, maybe not,” Minho said stubbornly, “mostly ‘cause you bought that,” he said, gesturing at the box of pretzels that were now open. Jisung looked at him, then at the box in his hands, then back.
“Well, I see it as a win,” Jisung said cheekily, taking a pretzel out from the box. He handed it to Minho who happily accepted it. They both munched on the pretzels, their attention focused on the TV playing in front of them. Soonie jumped up and lay in Jisungs lap, his hand automatically coming up to stroke the back of the cat. Minho sighed and rested his head against Jisung’s shoulder, tugging the blanket around the both of them, snuggling in warmly.
This was the type of evening Jisung enjoyed. A tame, domestic evening where he and his fiancé could enjoy each other’s company with no problems. Jisung sighed in contentment, sinking into the warmth of the man next to him, very much in love.
