"Okay, Kate. Is there anyone in the company who you've been.. infatuated with?"
"Uh.. that's.. uh. Okay, uhm.. there's one person. Mark. We used to date. He, uh.. broke up with me."
"Anyone else?"
"Well, I'm not infatuated with anyone else, but.. Jamie is there. She's.. pretty cool. She handles lighting, and she does an adequate job with it."
"Can you expand on that?"
"Alright? Whenever I'm on camera, she makes sure that the light is bright enough for me to be seen, but she constantly asks me if I was able to see anything. It was stupid, because I'm not fucking blind, but.. I'm not too upset since she was asking about my well-being."
"So, she does it everytime?"
"Ever since she came through those doors. For some reason, when I saw her, I kinda knew she was gonna be rebellious. It's hard to explain. She just had this fire in her eyes."
"Fire? Explain."
"When you looked at her, you could just tell that she wouldn't take shit from anyone. Just like me, of course."
"Then, why did Charlie note us that you don't have the best relationship with her?"
"That old bitch. Ugh, fine! I don't have the best relationship with her. I don't know what it is. Maybe we're.. too alike? I don't know. I'd probably be best friends with someone like her, but because it's her, I just.. can't seem to be her friend."
"You want to be her friend?"
"No! She's just.. I don't know what I want.."
"What are your intentions towards her?"
"Um.. what do people usually say? To just.. do what I do best? Yeah. That. I'm just gonna do what I do best, and just be chill, and maybe she'll come around on her own, because I am definitely NOT a key factor as to why we can't get along."
"Okay, so.. you don't want to have a friendship with her, but you want a positive relationship with her."
"Yes."
"So, what do you want with her?"
"A relationship, of course!"
"You want to be her girlfriend?"
"What?! No! That's not.. what I meant!"
"That's exactly what you said."
"No, it wasn't! I said that I wanted a relationship with her!"
"Do you know what a relationship is?"
"Oh, fuck me."
"Do you.. need a few minutes to find the right words? We have other people to interview anyways."
"Yes, please."
