Notes:

Brainrot possessed your author and this is why this exists.

There were two ways the brainrot was going to go: TGCF characters are whisked away and fall into our world OR whatever this book is. Before anything else, I have to say I've only watched the anime and read up to chapter 71 (still reading). Furthermore, I don't know Mandarin. So, there are going to be some wrong stuff, you have been warned.

Also there's be more tags but my phone isn't cooperating so I'm stuck like this for now. ALSO THE SUMMARY PAHAHAHAHA was rewording this: https://youtu.be/E_DtXf0xscI

22/05/25 Edit: the author has finished the main TGCF story, has finished it for a few months.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Hua Ziyang (花紫阳): Flower('s) Violet Light

_ _ _ _ _ _

Thunder crashes over head. A man, clad in black from head to toe, glances once up at the gloomy skies before turning his attention back to an altar. The altar, situated in what looked like a study room, was smaller than what'd you find in any other temple. Although it still carried most of the offerings and an incense pot like such places. You could call it a shrine perhaps. The only thing missing to this shrine was a donation box. Maybe not a shrine then...

Swooping down out of the rain, a crow lands on the arm of the chair abandoned at the coffee table. It bows its head, cawing in greeting to the man tending to a flower vase on the altar. Tilting its head slightly, the crow looks up at the man before turning away once again, as if afraid of making eye contact with him if he turned around.

"What news have you come to bring me? Everything should be running fine now that I've returned." Gentle was the voice that floated from the man, and still the crow's feather stand on end. It lets out a series of caws, reporting back what it had spied in its flight.

"Hmm? He's been spotted by the river again?" Soft laughter escapes the man. A content hum follows, disallowing any chance to relax. "Well that's nothing exciting. Report back to me if he ever steps foot into town. You know how he is. Avoiding your master like she's the plague." An amused sigh escaping from his lips as he shakes his head. The crow caws once more and with a flutter is back out the window.

"Ah Hua Cheng... when will you come to see your little sister?"
