He found he hadn’t had one since he left the sect, which should have been surprising — but it truly wasn’t. How long did he spend, cooped up in a place he truly never loved? He didn’t deserve this. This man was far too nice to him, for his own good. They’d seperate soon, though. Surely Tianqing would abandon him soon, if he found out what Shen jiu really was—a monster. A slave with a horrid past, who lived this life more than once already — with no good qualities left but a cold personality.
