Sleeping soundly, he was getting a good night's rest that will be easily used to advance in his and his brother's journey to find a plant that will "cure him" - as if. There was nothing wrong with him . Father is wrong! He was sure of it-
Garmadon felt a nudge on his shoulder. It must be Wu... he thought. He opened his eyes sleepily to see his little brother over him. His eyes were full of tears and his bottom lip was trembling.
"What's wrong,Wu?" he asked tiredly, rubbing his eyes.
"hic I-i woke up and saw a big patch of blood on my sleeping bag and my pajama pants were all dirty.I feel weird and my stomach hurts a lot.I don't know what to do, brother!" he responded, wiping his teary eyes. Garmadon glanced over at the sleeping bag in question, and then down at his brother. He put two and two together and immediately got to a conclusion.
"Don't cry,Wu. I'll explain what's happening in a bit." he assured him. "I just need to get up first - also get off of my sleeping bag, please."

"Alright so, do you know what a period is?" Garmadon asked him. Wu's face got a little red out of embarrassment and nodded a simple 'no'. Garmadon sighed "Father should have told you about this when you were younger.." he muttered under his breath, and then said: "A period is when your womb is emptying itself for a baby.Once a month for a few days you bleed from down there" he said, pointing to a specific part of his brothers pants. "It's a normal part of puberty for people...er..like you..?" nailed it.
"Ah..But i don't want to get my pants even more dirty! It would be so weird! People would stare at me assuming i have killed someone! I would make a pun about this situation, but i'm not feeling like laughing right now."
"Well, normally, you would put a rag in your pants to absorb the blood, but since none of us knew that this would happen while journeying..we have nothing we can use for that." Garmadon informed him. Feeling a little cheeky, he said jokingly: "You should take your headband and put it there for the blood to be absorbed by it!"
Wu looked down, his eyebrows furrowed slightly. "Oh..Alright.." he murmured while starting to untie his bandana slowly. "WAIT NO! I WAS JOKING!! DON'T DO THAT" Garmadon said almost hysterical and then added "We need to find something that will suffice until your period is over."

"That should work."
Wu's expression dropped. He was scared that now everyone they were going to meet would immediately assume he's a girl because of this. His eyes got teary again. This couldn't be happening. He didn't want this at all..
"Brother..Am i a girl to you?" he asked him timidly. Garmadon looked at his brother and wiped the tears from his eyes. "Wu, you are my brother. And that is that. Nothing has ever made me think otherwise, and your puberty certainly won't. Don't take this as your body trying to convince you that you are a girl - take this your body maturing, because that's what it truly is!"
Wu looked up at his older brother and smiled "Thank you, Garmadon. I can always count on you! Let's get going! The plant won't get itself wouldn't it!"
Aaaand back to the 'magical purifying plant' stuff. Oh well.
