Chapter 1 Oh no...
Amity was so excited to show Luz the rebus that she double-checked to see if she had it.
"wait, where is the rebus?" the rebus was gone but... why? wait, did Amity just hear footsteps?
Amity turned to see Luz and Hunter running off somewhere.
"Luz?" Amity asked worriedly.
"you say something amity?" Amity turned to see Willow and Gus looking at her confused.
"um... I thought I saw Luz and Hunter running off. here I'll go and find them." Amity turned and followed Luz and Hunter.
Willow and Hus turned to each other looking both confused and worried.
Amity ran through the forest to search for Luz and Hunter.
"Luz?! Hunter?!" Amity shouted sounding worried. Amity continued to run through the forest until she was at a grave sight.
Amity looked around to find Luz and Hunter but to no avail.
Amity started to get worried.
'why did Luz run off like that and with Hunter of all...' Amity sighed.
'really? being jealous at a time like this?! get it together blight.' Amity thought before she slowly turned around and her eyes widen in shock.
Luz used the light glyphs to lead her to the titan blood.
Luz begins to get worried as Hunter ran off while leaving her behind.
Luz walked up to a gravesite that had toxic waste in the water.
Luz used two ice glyphs and slammed them to the ground making an ice bridge.
Luz ran on the ice bridge making it to the other side.
"Hunter, are you ok? did y-" Luz cut herself off when she saw Hunter laying on the ground.
"Hunter!" Luz ran up to Hunter and checked to see if he was alive.
Luz breathed a sigh of relief when she found out Hunter was still alive.
Luz slowly looked up to see Amity standing in front of her.
"Amity? w-what are you doing here?" Luz slowly got up while still looking confused.
"I was trying to find you and Hunter after I saw you two running in the forest." Luz looked down feeling guilty.
"I'm sorry Amity, me and Hunter were just looking for-"
"titan blood?" Luz's eyes widen in shock after hearing that.
how did Amity know she and Hunter were looking for the blood as well?
"A... Amity... are you ok..." Luz asked sounding worried.
"I'm fine, Luz." Luz's heart stopped at hearing Belos's voice.
Luz watched as Amity turned around to reveal her eyes glowing blue with horns growing on her head.
Luz saw dark green scars around Amity's body.
"so, glyphs do work after all."
"y... you survived."
"I did. thanks again for all your help Luz but I don't need you anymore." Belos used Amity's body as he swung her right hand making a dark green spike.
Luz dodged the spike and looked up to Amity. no... to Belos.
"Amity! I know you're in there! please fight him!" Luz shouted as she slammed an ice glyph to the ground.
The ice glyph came up from the ground as it forced Belos to let go of the titan blood that fell to the ground.
Luz got up and ran up to Belos. "Amity, I know you can hear me!"
"get off of me!" Belos tried to get Luz off of him.
Luz tackled Belos to the ground as Luz turned Belos around making him look at her.
"Amity please!" Luz shouted with tears in her eyes.
"i... I love you."
"How disgusting." Belos pushed Luz off of him as he got up from the ground.
Luz sat up to see Belos slowly walking up to her.
"you are just as repulsive as celeb was before I killed him!"
Luz's eyes widen in shock at what Belos just said.
"w-what?"
"I tried to save him from those unforgivable creatures but he wouldn't listen, just like you and this disgusting witch." Belos gestured to Amity's body.
Luz felt her blood boil in anger as she got up from the ground and shouted "You fucking hypocrite!"
Willow, Gus, Camila, and Vee ran up to the grave to see Luz and Amity talking.
"is that Amity?" Camila asked confused.
"no, something's wrong," Gus said worriedly.
"This is why you're so helpful Luz. you're so desperate to help people, you even helped me meet the collector." Luz froze after hearing that and it came from Amity's mouth.
"i... I didn't mean to. I thought I saw doing something good."
"you did do something good. I thought this one was a lost cause but together we can finish our work as witch hunters. starting with them." Belos fired his left hand at Willow and the others.
Willow summoned her palisman and swung it at the green hand destroying it.
Willow and Gus got on their staff and started to fight Belos.
"hey, Belos. remember me." Gus said flying around Belos who looked annoyed.
Belos hit Gus only to find out it was an illusion.
The green arm grabbed Willow and slammed her to the ground.
Willow got up and grabbed the green arm pinning it to the ground.
"hang on Amity," Vee said as she took a deep breath and started absorbing Belos's magic.
Belos was getting angry as he swung his left hand at Vee.
"Vee, watch out!" Gus shouted as he grabbed Vee and put her somewhere safe.
Belos swung his right arm as he hit Willow and Gus who fell off their staffs and landed on the ground.
Luz got up to see ghost turning into a staff.
Luz got on Amity's staff and flew close to Belos. "I know your in there Amity, sweet potato. please! you have to fight him off!"
Belos grabbed Luz and threw her into the ocean.
Willow quickly used her plant magic and made a vine bridge that Luz landed on.
Ghost got off her staff and jumped to Belos.
Ghost used her claws to try and cut the vines off of Amity's head.
Belos grabbed Ghost.
Luz looked up to see Belos grabbing Ghost.
"no, please!"
"that's right. you wouldn't want me hurting your precious palisman, would you? oh, but then again, I don't care what you want." Belos crushed ghost who fell to the ground.
"ghost!" Luz shouted as she ran up to Ghost who was leaking green blood.
"ghost, you'll be ok."
Belos started to feel Amity fighting back as he fell to his knees.
Belos's eyes turned to Amity's golden eyes.
"you hurt people Belos. you tricked people and use them for your gain. you manipulate people without feeling remorse and I will never forgive you for it." Amity grabbed the titan's blood.
"but most of all, I will never, ever, forgive you for hurting and manipulating my girlfriend!" Amity shouted as she threw the titan's blood into the water.
"no!" Belos shouted as he jumped in the water trying to get the titan's blood back.
"Amity!" Luz shouted as she put ghost in her pocket bag.
"move." Luz watched as Camila ran and jumped in the water.
'Please save her mama.' Luz thought as she felt her heart start beating repeatedly.
out of all the people Luz couldn't bear to lose, Amity was one of the people Luz wouldn't even think about losing. until now.
Luz saw Camila coming up from the water with Amity in her arms.
Luz and her friends helped Camila out of the water while laying Amity on the ground.
Luz sat down in front of Amity's head as she started to panic.
"Amity! please, please be ok..." Luz whispered in worry.
Luz and the others watched as Amity's eyes glowed blue and Belos came out of Amity.
Luz looked up to see Belos standing in front of them in his monstrous form.
"you unforgivable witch, you would dare stab me in the back?" Belos asked angrily.
"I'll kill you for this Belos!" Luz shouted in anger.
Belos turned and slammed the titan's blood on the wall the blood was dripping to the ground.
Luz and the others watched as the titan blood made a portal open in front of them.
Belos turned around to Luz and her friends. "this is for the good of your souls. you'll thank me later." Belos walked backward through the portal.
"That's the belos you've been fighting this whole time?" Camila asked in shock.
Luz turned to Amity and tried to wake her up. "Amity, Amity wake up." Amity didn't wake up which made Luz get worried.
"Amity? Amity please wake up..." Luz started to feel tears in her eyes as she tried to wake Amity up.
"Luz..." Camila whispered in worry.
"Mom, Amity's not waking up," Luz said to her Mom with tears in her eyes.
"Vee, call an ambulance," Camila said not turning to Vee who grabbed her phone out of her pocket.
Luz turned to Amity's sleeping face as she could feel tears in her eyes.
"This is all my fault... I'm so..." Luz sniffed.
"so sorry Amity..." Luz cradled Amity in her arms as she started to cry.
Camila looked at Luz in worry.
She could hear Willow whispering something like "I forgive you..." but couldn't make sure.
"A... Amity... I know you can hear me... sweet potato..." Luz whispered to Amity with tears in her eyes.
"I showed you the Fast and Furious movies along with other stuff from the human realm..."
"Luz..." Camila whispered looking both worried and confused at the same time.
"if you die, then I die... you're my family Amity... I'm so sorry for being oblivious to your feelings... I was just living a fantasy world in my head... but..." *sniff* "I'm done with all that... Eda... King... Willow... Gus... showed me what it means to have friends... a family and helped me when I needed it most... but you... you showed me what it means to fall in love..." Luz didn't notice that Ghost got out of her small bag.
"you showed me how to be a better person and not live in a fantasy world... I always wanted to live in a fantasy world to escape reality because nobody took me seriously..."
Camila slowly looked down to the ground in shame.
"nobody helped me mourn my dad's loss..."
Camila felt tears coming down her face after hearing that.
"Eda, King, and to an extent Hooty is my family in the isles... but your my home... my whole world..."
Ghost got on Amity's stomach and she started to glow green.
"your my ohana Amity... ohana means family. and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."
Camila, Willow, Gus, and Vee watched as Ghost started to fade away while Luz said "If you die, I die. and I'm not ready to leave this place yet. your my family amity... please... come home to me..."
"I love you too Luz." Luz's eyes widen as she saw Amity smiling at her.
Amity had scars on her face and body but Luz didn't care as she leaned forward and kissed Amity on the lips.
Amity kissed Luz back with tears in her eyes.
Luz and Amity broke the kiss with Amity whispering "Is it true? what you said while I was... you know..." Luz smiled while blushing.
"every word. your my family and I never leave family behind." Amity smiled while blushing.
"ahem." Luz flinched as she slowly turned to see her mom with a raised eyebrow.
"never leave family behind, huh..." Luz groaned.
"it was just supposed to be for the summer Mom!"
"that's still no excuse for just leaving me for a few months mijà."
amity giggled at Luz and Camila's banter.
"ah... what happened?" Luz, Amity, Camila, and the others turned to see Hunter slowly walking up to them while rubbing the back of his head.
"Hunter, are you ok?" Luz asked worriedly.
"yeah, but what happened? we were going to get tian blood then I think I blacked out but I think I saw amity." Amity slowly looked down.
"Belos possesed you then he possesed me." Hunter stood there as he saw scars around Amity making him feel guilty.
"Hunter? Are you ok?" Camila asked worriedly.
"yeah... I'm fine." Hunter turned around to see a portal open in front of him.
Luz helped Amity slowly get up from the ground.
"Are you ok Amity?"
"yeah, I'm ok Luz." Luz slowly looked down.
"Amity... Ghost..."
"I know." Luz looked up to see Amity tearing up.
Luz slowly walked up and hugged Amity who hugged her back.
Luz and Amity broke the hug.
They turned to see Hunter, Gus, Camila, Willow, and Vee in front of the portal.
Luz and Amity walked up to the others while holding hands.
"Belos is back in the isles..." Willow whispered in shock.
"do we follow him?" Gus asked turning to the others.
"yes." Everyone turned to Luz who walked up to the portal.
"I'm not letting Belos get away with hurting Amity. but..." Luz looked down feeling like she was about to cry again.
"I helped Belos. I met him when he was just Philip but I thought I was doing something good. I thought you all would hate me for this. which is why I think it would be in everyone's best interest if I-"
"took your mama to the demon realm!" Camila shouted grabbing Luz and hugging her.
Luz got out of the hug looking shocked.
"What?" Luz felt Amity hug from behind her.
"I could never hate you, Luz." Luz turned around to see Amity smiling at her.
"I heard what you said when Belos felt my body. we're family now, right?" Luz blushed and nodded slowly.
"yeah."
"I don't care if you helped Belos, Luz. I know you more than you might know yourself and I know that what you did was an accident."
"but Belos..." Luz slowly looked down at the ground.
"he tricked you, Luz. He knew what to say and do to gain your trust." Amity said smiling.
Luz looked up to see Amity smiling at her.
"thank you Amity." Luz smiled.
Amity smiled and kissed Luz on the cheek.
"see you on the other side. I promise." Amity nodded as she walked around Luz and walked up to the portal.
Luz turned around to see Amity walking up to the portal. Amity turned to Willow.
"Willow..." Amity slowly looked down to the ground.
"It's ok Amity, I forgive you." Amity looked up to see Willow smiling at her.
Amity smiled slightly as Willow slowly walked up to her.
Amity hugged Willow who smiled and hugged Amity back.
Amity and Willow broke the hug with Amity turning to Luz who was smiling at her.
Amity smiled as she turned to the portal and slowly walked through it.
Luz turned to her mom who was talking to Vee.
Luz turned to see Willow, Gus, and Hunter walk through the portal.
Luz walked up to where her witch hat was at.
Luz grabs her hat and put it on.
"a good witch always has to have her hat." Luz turned to her mom who held her red bat.
"Are you sure about coming with us mama?"
"mijà, after what I just saw with what you said to Amity," Luz's face flushed red.
"I will help you kids any way I can." Camila smiled as she grabbed Luz's hand.
Luz smiled as she and Camila walked through the portal to the boiling isles.
