So basically Indiana is like a kingdom and Hawkins is just like a small part. Like all the states of America are their own kingdom just to get that out the way. Sorry I had to bring america into this 😔. So basically because it's like America( I hate writing things with America in it 🥲 ) mythical creatures can live with humans side by side but of course some humans accept them with open arms and others call them freaks. There are full bloods and half bloods of creatures. I literally came up with some of these okay ( ；∀；).
Some descriptions😚
Will: a wizard (duh) in training since he is still young and learning. Will like creating things out of magic like making things grow or live. He also likes using spells more and likes reading about spells and creatures that he could summon.
He learned it from his mom who learned it from whatever that mf name was her ex husband when they were actually happy together but also she learned that on her own so she was able to teach herself a lot about Witchcraft and about wizard since her ex-husband was one. And because it became useful she decided to teach it to will and Jonathan.
Mike: knight in training. His father was a soldier and was stationed in their homeland. He came from a family that came from a long line of soldiers and because they have been given privileges from the kingdom. That's why they rich rich. Like soldiers they get trained under soldiers from the kingdom and they can either be stationed in their homeland or be sent somewhere else.
Dustin:half blood. He is part reptile(a water type reptile) that he got from his mother's side so unlike humans his teeth came in late and he can do that thing with his arms. He of course holds some kind of magical power and that being able to see far away and also sensing magic from anything around him. Also underwater he can see clearly and and hold his breath longer but not breath underwater since he's only half.
Lucas: He comes from a family that has a store in town that sells weapons(knife's, spears,guns yk the usual) so they make quite the money from that. His mom knows a lot about medicine so he knows what to do when they are injured. He was taught how to fight with weapons and how to treat wounds and Erica was also taught the same.
El(Jane): she is a type of mutant that doesn't occur naturally with the person being born with more spiritual power than one has to have, making them more powerful and dangerous . She escaped an underground facility that was run by the kingdom using them as weapons and testing them like animals trying to see how they can use magic for their advantage. It took her and hid her and used her for years until she ran away.
Max: she moved from Cali to Hawkins because of her parents.Because of how tough her step dad is and also billy she learned to fight with weapons or with just hands. Her mom was more into just being a housewife which she didn't want to be.She has a lot of speciality with voodoo that she learned from her grandmother but her mother made her stop.
The older kids
Nancy: Nancy is also wanting to be a soldier but her mom doesn't want her and only wants her to get married and have a stable life. Like her mom did. So since she can't really do much fighting she decided another way so she asks Jonathan for wizard lessons. She gets help from him and his mom that make more comfortable and makes her passionate about magic. She discovered some potions and powders that can cause a reaction that can make them sparks and BOOM and she enjoys finding ways to make this happen since she enjoys finding ways to mix magic with action and she kinda enjoys seeing things blow up.
Steve: Coming from a rich family since his family works with people that also work for the kingdom so people gave him the nickname "king Harrington" even though his parents aren't even that close to the kingdom. The thing that is a family secret is that he is half elf and elves have unique things about them like making them charming and admirable and can only read human emotions but sometimes it's hard with other types of creatures. When he was born his parents had no idea he was part elf since he didn't have any features of an elf or any signs so when he did show signs it had come out that his dad was part elf but that was how he used his charm to get their job with the kingdom. So it's been a secret so people just believe that they are a human family that's just really lucky. Since any type of creature is considered a freak of nature to some people .
Jonathan: He is also a wizard but he likes using potions and herbs more than spells like will. When he was younger and his mom's ex husband was around he used to make him use all his spiritual power on spells draining him because he wanted to toughened him up as he said and then he found out that he can use potions for different things if it meant for healing or harming. He doesn't like using his spiritual power a lot so he uses potions. He still likes taking pictures of things and shows them to Will. And with that Will gathers inspiration from his photos and puts them in his drawings.
Eddie: he is a full blood vampire but his family already has come a long way to the point that those vampire urges are slowly going away. Like having the urge to attack anyone that has a tiny bit of blood on them so he can control that since he doesn't have the urge to pounce on them. He of course still has the urge to live in dark places but over time amulets and potions have been made for them to live out like "normal people" with the addition of being able to see in the dark And basically has echo location. Of course there's those times where the red moon makes them go all crazy but they have a lockdown for that and thank God that a blood moon doesn't come around all the time.
Robin: half blood.her mother is a fairy and not those tiny little ones they are like a little different. Like elves they also get their energy from nature but they usually don't take from it they give like if there's a dying plant they try to help. Fairy's are good with nature and good with holding information and reading people's emotions but usually they can't help with that. But over the ages people turned the image of a fairy to be a little creature that plays jokes on people and are basically irritating creatures but those are usually leprechaun's that play the tricks. But of course that's not even close to the truth since they don't want anything but to give back but they always get mistreated.(please i don't mean this in any homophobic way I'm sorry if it offends anyone 🥲)
Argyle: full blood. Comes from a long line of magicians (like Jonathan but a bit different) he has x-ray vision that his ancestors used when curing the sick he has also become very handy with herds with being surrounded with herds and medicine all his life.
Also Mike isn't an asshole in this only. And he has the characteristics of season 1&2 and a bit of season 3 but only those cute nice parts. Not the fight they had cause that was a bitch ass move. Mike but he has the looks of season 4.
But so like everything that happened in season 1,2 and 3 didn't happen they literally are just living a happy life with magic and this is basically different stories into one just different parts into one big story. I will change pov sometimes.
And El and Will are siblings because Hopper married Joyce because they are a nice little family. And they all live in Hawkins and they aren't all separated.
Changed El name to Jane cause the kingdom is looking for her so yeah and it's her legal name
Also Mike and El aren't together but they did have a little thing going on until Will told her his feelings for Mike so she said he deserves to be happy.
